I miss SNL also. My mom was getting pissed at her soap operas.. but they're back.

I hope this strike is over soon... it's been going on for a while, and I don't understand why everyone involved can't come to a compromise.

But, I don't know the full story, so it may be a complicated situation...

Yeah that really sucks. I also miss The Office, and 30 Rock. I really hate how we are being bombarded with "reality" and game shows right now. I guess we should get used to more of that though, if the strike continues.

I concur.

I wonder how the strike is going to affect shows like It's Always Sunny and Rescue me. Two of the finer shows on Television.

I have watched seasons two through four of the Wire since Christmas to help combat rerun/game show bombardment. But now I am caught up, so I guess it will be time to burn through my netflix queue, which has 150+ movies. That should take some time.
