My step dad passed away yesterday, we put my dog down this morning, and watched her leave in the back of a pick up truck, I'm outta booze and my dealer got robbed. Did roo get cancelled too? That would be the perfect icing on top of this shiz cake

custeph From someone that's been there the best thing you can do is something. I know that sounds stupid but so many people say they want to do something and then you literally never hear from them again. PM me if you need suggestions. Also, since she's younger than you there are a couple of great organizations for younger patients/survivors.

I went to HP's website last week to order recovery discs to fix our desktop. I went through all the steps but apparently something screwed up because, as I figured out yesterday, the order never went through. Here goes another week of having a broken desktop while I wait for the order to get here.
What operating system do you have? If its vista or 7 you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to recover from...

It didn't work. The Original Wolfman Jess spent a good amount of time trying to figure it out. HP actually has it's own recovery image on the comp, but apparently, it never works. Thanks though.

God damn Quack cancer. I can't seem to go more than eight months without this quackin' shiz affectin' my friends and family. One of my old friends (ironically also with the same first and last name) was just diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Quack. And another of my best friends is goin' through her second bout with stage four shiz still and is in Chicago seekin' treatment now. Seriously Quack this shiz.

It angers me how light of a sentence those Steubenville quackers got off with. One and two quacking years? They can contact the victim in four? Are you quacking kidding me? Those two boys should have been locked up for 15-20 with no chance of parole, in my opinion. What they did was absolutely heinous. I regularly find the sentences for rape convictions in this country appalling, but this one is especially bad.
America: where being a NO NO WORD!!! addict will get you a longer sentence than committing the most heinous acts of sexual assault.

Nobody I know wants to take the extra ticket I have for the Disclosure show Not like the tickets were expensive, it's just hard to believe NO ONE would want it....

I don't usually grrr but you guys reminded me of: 3 friends and myself went up to see the Dead at Red Rocks. We tripped over something so to speak. I found them at the end of the show but I noticed my necklace was not on me. Guy BTW. It had the engagement ring from a current lost (not dead) love, and my deceased father's dog tags from his military service. I always thought someone might send the dog tags back to me because I have the same name and I live in the city. It was very very sad for me......
