I'm not even drunk...but I just had to pick my roommates girlfriend up from jail for a DUI since apparently I'm the only sober friend in our group tonight (still feeling shitty from drinking to much last night) but I figured I'd post a friendly reminder to NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.....this girl is super sweet and not the kinda person you'd expect to be sitting in a cell....but the 5-0 is out and about and not kidding around...be safe! no reason to get in trouble before Roo! (or at Roo for that matter)
We had family fun night for my kid's school today. It was a freaking mad house. I left with both kids in tears. And today is my ex's birthday. I've mostly stopped thinking about him but I just realized the date. So here I am writing this instead of drunk dialing him.
listen to Milo greene if you haven't. They are the bee's knees
This is all I could see.
Honestly I haven't stopped listening to that album since I started...they went from being someone I had no idea about to a top 5 band for me this year now..its perfection

I stocked the fridge with IPA microbrews over the weekend in anticipation for the UFC fights (a little girl on girl action never hurt, amirite?). Had some DogFishHead 90 minute, Weyerbacher Double Simcoe, Troegs Nugget Nectar, and other beers of that variety. After a few hours of pounding 8-11% beers, doing shots before every fight turned out to be a bad idea. I don't think anybody ralphed, but apparently I was the only person not to black out at some point during the night. But man do I love IPAs.

Well its 1:27 am, watching Ron White comedy, and drinking my fourth Bourbon. When I finished my fourth, and I considered a fifth, the only thing that comes to.mind is, why not, and I must post this on the inforoo drunken rambling thread.

I'm a huge fan of Shift. Its an pale lager that is just relaxed. It's a good hanging out beer, imo. At 5.0% ABV you don't get too quacked up too quick.
.. and then there is Fat Tire. If you haven't tried that, you're missing out.

Love Fat Tire, like all of the New Belgium. Most recently I had they're Snow Day winter seasonal, and was a big fan. Fat Tire is just too heavy in the June heat of Manchester, in my opinion. That's why I'm curious to try some of their lighter beers.
Last December I went to the Christmas Jam in Asheville, NC. The night before we went to the Thirsty Monk and tried different brews. Upstairs I ordered a beer on tap that had a seafaring name that I cannot remember, but I think it had "wharf" in the name. It was described as having a hint of vanilla, and it did. I loved that beer.
I've been to the Thirsty Monk's website and it looks like it has been rotated out. If anyone can tell me the name of it so I can locate some I'd be forever indebted to you and will let you name out still nameless cat.
Holy shit I've had a hell of a night. Started out at the country club and ended up at a sleazy bar. Sleazy bars are the best places ever. jager bombs are nasty but apparently I can still do them. Lots of them.

Trying to explain Bonnaroo to a sober person after you have been drinking for awhile apparently does not work too well. I can guarantee there are 3 people who will not be attending now since they thought it sounded more like Mad Max then a music festival.

I should also note that I don't feel so good after drinking vodka followed by lots of jager. Bad decision. I would say it won't happen again no matter who is buying them but I can't make promises like that.

I know that exact feeling, ha. Swearing to yourself you will never drink that much again. Then once you feel better you're like, "Well that wasn't too terrible. Lets have another go at it." haha. I can never make promises like that either.
