i like the chillable red. but the best part of the evening...i was even too lazy to walk across the kitchen to get a wine glass....this evenings box o' yum is being enjoyed in the finest of paper cups left over from a party.
What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.
I'm NOT drunk at the moment. But I really, reeeeeeeally, REEEEALLY wish I was!!!
The fall semester starts Monday.
Students started swarming campus today. They're all tanned and relaxed and happy. And... whiny.
They're coming into my office in droves trying to get into classes that are full because they've waited all summer before realizing, "Oh yeah, I should like, maybe... register for stuff?"
Then, as they hover over my desk with their whiny little faces looking all tanned and pitiful, they smack their gum and text their friends instead of paying attention to the person who, if not properly appeased, will put their tanned lil' assses into 8 o'clock classes. <evil chuckle> (Did I mention the whiny part?)
I want to strangle their tanned, relaxed, happy lil' necks.
But, alas, I will not strangle them. Instead, I'm tempted to keep a flask of something strong & tasty in my desk drawer. A little nip here, a little nip there, and suddenly nobody needs to raise bail money to get Alcoholls outta jail for strangling a bunch of whiny freshmen. Win/win, right? ;D
Geez, way to make the rest of feel like jerks. "After I donate my kidney to a friend in need, I'll still make the effort to go Bonnaroo and see all my friends even though I'm not crazy about the lineup this year."
I've been drinking alone tonight, which is something I have not done for a while. I now remember why I like to drink alone; gets the creativity out in me. I've been playing keyboard for the better part of two hours and pretty much just wrote the framework for a dubstep song (think James Blake). I should do this more often.
