Awesome chico! Beautiful country isn't it.......I loved every second of my stay there.
It was completely beautiful! We mostly went south and west, though we got a little north. Never made it to Tripoli or to the cedar forests, but I still got to see a lot.
I loved it and loved the people that I met. I'll go back again.
That is bad ass, really quality work. Who's the artist?
Emily Effler-Bond at Standard Ink Tattoo Co. in Chattanooga, TN
edit- I went in the shop today while I was in that area of town to show her how it healed up and she wants me in to touch up on it for free! (Of course, I will tip well) She says it is one of her favorites and wants it to be perfect. Score!

I've been meaning to get my first for ages. When I was 14, I decided I wanted to get my grandfather's coat of arms on my back, but I told myself I would wait five years, and if I still wanted it, I'd get it. So when I was 20 I went into one of the more reputable tattoo parlors in Boston (err... Cambridge, technically), but the guy there said he'd either have to blow it up the size of a sheet of paper, or cut out a crapload of detail - neither of which was preferable, so it was back to the drawing board on that one. It is a pretty badass looking coat of arms, though. ;D
(name blocked out for privacy's sake, but if anyone is interested in the stories behind it, they can PM me)
Over the past couple years, I've been thinking about getting another, much simpler one in the meantime on the inside of my ankle, to commemorate a life-changing operation I had when I was 15 years old. I don't have any pictures of that to post, though, as they're all in my head at the moment.
It's empty in the valley of your heart, the sun it rises slowly as you walk away from all the fears and faults you've left behind.
I need freedom now, and I need to know how to live my life as it's meant to be. I will hold on hope, and I won't let you choke on the noose around your neck. I'll find strength in pain and I will change my ways - I'll know my name as it's called again.
Also...I may be shunned for this...my tat and creepy foot.
Mark is from bandaid after I first got it...blotches are my ginger freckle globe formations that come out in the sun...aaaand my toes are webbed on each foot.
