Ahhhh....Busch Light Cans. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for those.
In college, if you were too drunk/broke to drive down to the market for Labatt's or whatever you normally drank, you could walk across the street to SugarCreek. For a five dollar bill you could walk out with a 12-pack of Busch Light Cans, tax and deposit included.
It wasn't the best beer we ever had, but we sure drank our fair share of it, that's for sure.
Most of my faves have been mentioned except for Bell's out of Michigan. Bell's Oberon and their Two-Hearted Ale are two of the best beers in the world. Going down my list is Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout, Sam Smith's Taddy Porter, Anchor Steam, Newcastle, and Great Lakes Pale Ale. For crappy American pilsner, few can beat the old "33", thank you Latrobe. And oh yeah, Guiness really, really, really sucks. Unless it's an Irish Car Bomb.... mmmmm.... car bomb....

My usual beer is Coors Light... cheap in the bars around here. For a treat I get a local brew, Mad Anthony's. Anybody ever heard of it? I like the blonde, but their auburn won silver out in CO a few years ago. They've also got a really good raspberry beer, and a seasonal apple ale (yummy). In college it was all about nattie light... I still get chills when I see it....
Going cheap it's gotta be Hamm's or Natty Ice Light (cheap and they go down way too quick). Sapporo, Heini, Red Stripe, Amstel Nut Brown, and Bell's Best Brown are some of my favorites. I'm not big on stouts or darker beers, but the brewpub in Port Huron, MI makes a sick Tugboat Stout that's fit for a meal.
