Take it for what it's worth, but with all these huge names at the top of the list, do you think there is any chance that Bonnaroo is possibly breaking pattern and possibly doing dual headliners like most festivals?

Anyone else feel that having Jack Johnson as the Sunday closer had more potential for a larger crowd than WSP. Would have thought Warren Haynes would have still be involved somehow at the very least. This was hardly a "Big" announcement in my books.
Widespread Panic will now close out the 7th annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on Sunday, June 15. Perhaps the festival's longest standing veteran, Widespread Panic has performed on Bonnaroo's main stage in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2007. While Widespread Panic was on hiatus, keyboardist JoJo Hermann and drummer Todd Nance both performed at the festival in 2004. The group was brought on as one of the festival's marquee jam acts after the Allman Brother Band officially canceled its performance earlier this week. The group's powerful, two-set Bonnaroo performances are known both for their energy and varied special guests. Over the years the group has welcomed Steve Winwood, Herbie Hancock, Bob Weir, Warren Haynes, Robert Randolph, Luther and Cody Dickinson, Galactic's Stanton Moore, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Dottie Peoples and the People's Choice Choir to the stage while performing at Bonnaroo.
In addition, Jack Johnson has chosen to join his friends Pearl Jam on the main stage Saturday, June 14, stepping into the slot vacated by the Allman Brothers. Johnson will perform an extended set beginning at sunset, shortly before Pearl Jam close out the day's main stage festivities. Johnson is close friends with the Peal Jam camp and jammed with Eddie Vedder at his Kokua Festival in April, 2007. Many fans also speculate that Johnson will join Pearl Jam onstage during their headlining set.
Bonnaroo has also confirmed a handful of new acts, including Les Claypool, who performed at Bonnaroo each year from 2002-2006. Other new additions include Jurassic 5's Chali 2na, Superdrag, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Adele, Grand Ole Party and The Postelles.
I'd also rather have Jack close out the festival. At least it would be a different vibe. From the link posted a bit ago tho - seems like Jack chose to play Saturday instead of him getting bumped tho. He must have his reasons...
While this is a solid addition - I don't think it qualifies as "big" considering what we've heard about other fests lately. I'm still happy to go though!
DJ, will you explain all the clues once the announcement happens... or are we just going to have to deal with not knowing which were true and which were red herrings?
Saya bisa, fo sho.
Just promise you won't throw fruit at me. Even though there is an apple on my head, right now.
And we're done. Where's the fruit to pelt djjd? JK DJ.

At the end of the festival, I would much rather chill out to some relaxed acoustic guitar than listen to the same blues jam for 4 hours. I have no energy by the end of the day Sunday . . . not as if I would really expend it for Panic anyway.
