if the mars volta does indeed appear at bonnaroo this year, then my WORST IMAGINABLE conflict will be if the volta and sigur ros both play late night at the same time. i will cry tears of sadness for decades to come.
I am worried that Derek Trucks and Phil will both play late night. I was pissed about all of the late night conflicts last year, it sucked. I missed SCI to see the super jam and i missed the FLIPS to see the Mule. Both shows rocked but I was disappointed I was forced to choose. Please Superfly have a heart and please do not schedule Derek opposite of Phil! PLEASE.
late afternoon sets last year was a nightmare. roots vs manu charo vs black keys. went to black keys and didnt regret it. then the next day ben harper vs ween vs keller. i really wanted to see ben and keller but ween was still the no brainer for me.
yeah late night last year was terrible... sts9 vs string cheese...i ended up blowing both off and went to dj shadow with my girlfriend and best friend and had a blast.. then flaming lips vs galactic. went to flips and was like whoa.
this year i can predict mmj and ghostland will be on the same night and that phil lesh and sigur ros will probably be on the same night. i am predicting allmans as a daytime what stage act that will conflict with b.b. king. idk i'm scared.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm becoming increasingly concerned that the Raconteurs will be scheduled opposite Willie Nelson. Both acts seem like they would have to be pre-headliners, and both are listed for Friday (for now). I could see Willie taking What Stage at around 5:30 or 6 with the Raconteurs on Which Stage at the same time. Latenight is obviously a mess. If Sigur Ros is going to be at night, they're going to have to conflict with MMJ or Phil . . . sorry folks. Honestly, I'm starting to hope they move Superjam back to the daytime.
But those are conflicts I can live with. My biggest fear is that Robert Randolph's Revival will conflict with Plant/Krauss. Up until last week I was convinced that RR would get a latenight slot. But with Jason Crosby's MySpace listing Sunday as the day, a whole new concern has cropped up. It seems to me that Plant/Krauss and Robert Randolph would have to be pre-headliners. I honestly think that if I have to choose between one of those two, I'll cry.

My biggest conflict scenario is latenight... any combo of these overlapping is going to drive me crazy and something bad is almost certain to happen: Umphrey's McGee, Phil Lesh, Tiesto, Levon Helm, Talib Kweli, Robert Randolph, Gogol Bordello. And I'm starting to get into Sigur Ros and MMJ which could create even more problems!
Now that the MMJ and Sigur Ros conflict has been cleared up I'm becoming worried about the possibility of a Kanye, Lupe, or Talib late night set. Obviosuly, My late nights are going to MMJ and Sigur Ros, but I would really hate to miss any of the three rappers I mentioned.

Maybe the Revival will play the What Stage 'round noon on Sunday.

I can't see Robert Randolph on either of the stages (I know, he played the main stage wayyy back in like 2002). The smaller the part as far as I'm concerned. The thought of his set not being a tent show never really crossed my mind. Stranger things have happened though . . .

Has it? So that means (assuming SR is getting a late night slot), they'll definitely be competing with Phil Lesh?

i've got this wretched feeling that Umphrey's will play during Bisco.
and that MMJ will play during Phil.
i can't believe that so many people think that Talib will get a late night slot...
Ummmmm Phil and MMJ have both been announced as Which Stage acts, making they're playing at the same time impossible. Also, I would be SHOCKED if Umph and the Disco Biscuits conflicts. They shared a latenight tent a few years ago, and I figure they will do the same. Even if they don't share a tent, collaborations between the two bands are likely, so I doubt they would conflict.
Talib will be latenight because for the past few years there has been a latenight tent dedicated to hip-hop.

MMJ has 6/13 listed on their MySpace Sigur Ros has 6/14 in their tour dates But, latenight occurs after midnight, which technically could be considered the next day . . .
I'm counting on Talib being late night, sad thing too, as I really want to see his show, but I just know there's going to be a million other things I wanna see...

I think Willie Nelson may be playing the same time as the Raconteurs or maybe even Chris Rock up against either one of them. I think Ben Folds and the Allman Brothers may be playing the same time. As for latenights, I'd love to see My Morning Jacket, Phil and Friends, Sigur Ros, and Tiesto. MMJ is latenight Friday, and Phil latenight Saturday. I know Sigur Ros is listed as Saturday but Friday latenight is also Saturday, so who knows where Tiesto and Sigur Ros will land on the schedule and who else will be added for latenight shows for that matter. But if Tiesto does one of his 5-6 hour shows I won't want to see the whole thing because I'd have plenty of time to see a lot of other sets.

Zappa Plays Zappa, Robert Randolph's Revival, Plant/Krauss and The Bluegrass all-stars and Battles need to be sceduled as far apart as possible so I don't miss a moment of any of their sets
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

state radio and jack johnson would be my worst possible conflict, anyother of combinations of bands would be fine, but those two would drive me nuts choosing between them
