OAR is ah ok...State Radio is better with a more reggae/punk/jam fusion. ALA The Dispatch (who I wish was reuniting at roo) since it's the lead singer from the dispatch's band. check them out!

if you like hot talented lesbian twin sisters you will like tegan and sara
;D
love tegan & sara. completely shocked they are playing roo, but i'm a fan from way back. this is one show i will be front and center.
i'll try to be up there with ya depending on the schedule of bands playing before them. plus i'm seeing them in may in st. louis. so i don't know. very happy they're finally playing roo. should've happened a long time ago.
If you like Bob Dylan AND punk rock you will love Two Gallants. If you like The Pogues you will love The Felice Brothers. If you watch alot of tv then you will love Nicole Atkins.

yeh, State Radio is awesome. I almost like them more than Dispatch.
I hear ya, i'd be more worried about the OAR crowd than the Metallica crowd.... Really the only band i saw on the lineup and was like, that sucks.
OAR fans are typically very young right? (like highschool age)
i like jam bands and i like O.A.R, ive been a fan of them since they started playin the midwest back when i was in junior high(21 and a senior in college now). they used to play in Toledo, OH alot(which is where im from) and ive seen them twice in toledo, 3 times in c-bus and once in cleleland. Im not a fan of some of their newer stuff(love and memories mainly) but i do love their old stuff and even at the most recent show(in cleveland 2 years ago) they played their old stuff for the most part. they put on very good live shows and alwayd pull out a couple very good covers(alot of times something by dylan).
to each their own, but im looking forward to seeing them on sunday.
