I've emailed superfly and asked about the earlybirds, but they said no. I don't think that they will do earlybirds or anything special for people who have gone before. I wish they would, but I don't see it happening.
I'm going with or without Led Zeppelin, it's been decided. I'm pretty much waiting for the day to come where I can spend the money I've already saved for tickets...Bonnaroo year 5, can't wait!
im right there with ya. as i think most of us are.

i don't know how accurate this is, but last night on my way home from work, two of the major rock radio stations in atlanta announced that led zeppelin will be headlining bonnaroo. they may just be spreading the rumors that we have already heard about, but it's still exciting to me! even though it would make bonnaroo crazier than ever, i still would die to see them there, zep is one of my all time faves!!
for you atlantans, it was 92.9 dave fm and project 96.1

has there ever been a more rampant rumor that turned out to be untrue....i don't remember pearl jam being 'announced' by so many radio stations and tv stations and magazines the last couple of years...

While I'm not sure it would happen (even assuming Zep is at 'roo), I think wooz's idea about announcing them a bit later is good and logical. And for those who say Superfly wouldn't hold off a headliner from the initial announcement... they did in '03. Also, they've been known to f*ck around with expectations and do what they want.
Superfly would be CRAZY to announce OR admit this right now. Think about the chaos it would cause. Phuckers would start camping NOW..
I really think it will be announced right before or even after tickets go on sale...
Obviously, things are changing... 'Roo will always be 'Roo... BUT what they have done in the past will not hold a candle to 'Roo '08!!
Superfly just has to concentrate on keeping the word spread of Zeppelin and Metallica down. Otherwise, it's going to be crazy, and very hard to handle ticket sales... And everything else for that matter.
At this point, there are waaay too many reputable sources leaking this info for it not to be true.
that was quite possibly the most poorly written article i've ever read, i'd like to get a job there. I can at least form a coherent thought.... This article reads like a high schoolers essay on Abraham Lincoln that was copied from 12 different sources off the Internet. It jumps from one thing to the next.

Led Zeppeling is the indulging in endless discussions over the most inane rumors about legendary rock bands. It is primarily done on internet message boards.

haha... i'd edit it now, but it's more fun just to listen to that explanation... which makes sense that Led Zeppeling would be headlining... it's headlining our lives right now... :-)

well 105.9 the rock radio station in nashville has said twice today that LZ will be headlining bonnaroo, they have talked about the rumors before but today they said it was true.
The president of Big Hassle, a publicity firm for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, says that reports of Led Zeppelin appearing at the festival in Manchester this summer are inaccurate.
The Mirror, an English newspaper, reported Dec. 31 that the rock group would headline Bonnaroo in June.

“It’s still a rumor and the information in the Mirror is inaccurate,” said Ken Weinstein, president of Big Hassle. “I speak on behalf of (promotor) Superfly and AC Entertainment.”
An early December internet report of Led Zeppelin’s pending appearance at Bonnaroo in June was denied by Superfly and AC Entertainment.
