I expect an announcement this week, with some of the following names:
Robert Randolph in some capactiy (maybe with the Word?) The Raconteurs The Good The Bad and The Queen Damian Marley DTB
Also likely that they add Dubconscious, The Whigs, and possibly Fiction Plane, since those have already been uncovered. In fact, I don't put it out of the realm of possibility that they wait to add a lot of smaller bands until we discover them on our own.

I think it is likely because:
a) The Word is playing other festivals this summer (I believe I read this somewhere on this board) b) NMAS are already there c) A member of RR's tour management said that it was most likely that if Robert would be there seperate from the band. d) Robert has many people he will be there
It would definitely be more likely if The Word is already playing other festivals. Is this confirmed? There's no dates listed on Jambase and if the Word has a website I can't find it.
Just to keep everyone up to date, Shapes and Sizes may be added to Thursday's lineup as they are opening for The National. They are on Sufjan's Asthmatic Kitty label, and I think would fit well at the Roo. Just letting you all know.

^awesome. if you got a hard copy of that its worth some moneys. he's a really talented musician; i actually feel the chilli peppers would work better if everyone just did solo records all the time like him

As far as MMJ goes, I remember reading in Rolling Stone (I can't find the article online) that they are very, very fond of Bonnaroo, evidenced by the fact that they've played each of the past 4 years.
Their apparent enthusiasm for the fest makes me believe they would play it for free. They have to show up.
Anyway, I would love to see the Arcade Fire like everyone else. Devendra Banhart put on a solid show last year. Built to Spill would satisfy me as well.
