I keep forgetting the awesomeness of this album. Easy sunday morning Larurel Canyon folk rock.
I've been meaning to listen to this. AvocadoLady was pretty psych'd for them.
Oh, yeah. I'm a fan.
Their show at the Bottle was probably my third favorite show this year, not least because I was crying drunk, so close I could set my beer on the stage at Matthew's feet, and with two of my favorite people on the planet. Good times.
I had to go out to NY the other weekend to see them one last time this year. Almost as good, and the company was all right too.

I've listened to it a couple times and really liked it. It's definitely more dense than the straight up eps (which I really liked) and will probably take some time to grow on you.

Spokane---Little Hours
I'm going to file this record away with my other "cold razor, warm bath" albums. Other artists I include in this genre are William Fitzsimmons and Damien Jurado. My favorite Christmas season music.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
