I thought i heard somewhere that they did a cover of wish you were here? I think i have a version of it by them but not sure. That would be pretty sweet if they broke that out for an encore

Nah, brah, it's actually Sparklehorse -- I believe Thom Yorke did some backing vocals on the track, over a telephone from his hotel room. Other than that, it's pure Mark Linkous. It's one of the most notoriously mislabeled songs. I remember downloading it from Napster on dial up, years ago!
As much as I love the song, and though I haven't seen them play it live before, I hope they skip Creep. Although completely incorrect, I can see a lot of haters out there calling it the downfall of Bonnaroo, sellout, blah blah blah. I'd rather they blow everyone's minds fair and square. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it does in my head.
Some of their past covers: After the Goldrush (usually > Everything In It's Right Place) Cinnamon Girl Nobody Does It Better On the Beach (only in soundcheck, I think) Rhinestone Cowboy (way back in '93) Sing a Song For You (again, way back, a Tim Buckley tune)
Wish You Were Here was a cover done by Sparklehorse, but Thom appeared on it.
Actually, they do have a version of Wish You Were Here. It's a tad bit different from the floyd version, but not much. IT's very radiohead-esque with Thom playing Piano on it. IT can be found on The Golden Unplugged Album. I will sendspace the track tomorrow from work.
They also cover a portion of Wonderwall from Oasis on the album, then stop it abruptly, laughing, and say "It's always good to make fun of Oasis"
it is, as the title suggests, entirely acoustic tracklist: 1- Lozenge of Love 2- Subterranean Homesick Alien 3- Killer Cars 4- Wish You Were Here 5- Creep 6- Black Star 7- Street Spirit 8- Wonderwall 9- Blow Out 10- Lucky 11- High & Dry 12- Fake Plastic Trees 13- How I Made My Millions 14- Bulletproof 15- Banana Co. 16- Yes I am 17- Life in a Glasshouse

i dont think that they have played 'talk show host' yet, but i will keep my fingers crossed. they played it a few times the last tour i saw them on and that song is AMAZING live. chilling. i wouldn't be surprised to hear 'just'.
i would love 'climbing up the walls' and 'lucky'... ok, i am not going to start making a list because it would be too long. 15 step is my favorite new song so far, i think the guitar chorus part sounds somewhat jammish and would meld well with the crowd. ;0
the very special treat would be the band playing some songs off the eraser together. they've expressed interest in doing it, and bonnaroo is special...

looks cool, any way we can get the whole thing SS?
man, ive seen em twice now, first at the tweeter center in mass in 03, and this monday night, the second night of their boston run, and both times ive wanted to hear either you and whose army, or pyramid song, and they havent come through on either. Should i hope for one of them at roo?
also the after the goldrush> Everything combo would blow my fucking mind

That's that damned mislabeled track! It has popped up on a coupld of unofficial Radiohead compilations and credited to Radiohead.
Wikipedia
"Wish You Were Here" proved popular among later artists and several current bands, such as Sparklehorse (with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke), The Flaming Lips, and Rasputina, all of whom have recorded or performed live cover versions of the song.
Also, here's the link to the reference on GreenPlastic.com:
I wish to all things holy that they'd play Follow Me Around. But I think that's next to impossible, seeing that they never play it. I can't figure out for the life of me why that hasn't made it onto an album yet. It's absolutely amazing.

For years, my impossible dream has been that once, just once, they would play Sulk. I can close my eyes and picture the entire performance. When they get to the climactic final few bars I literally get chills down my spine. Oooooo...there they are now...
I just want to hear all of the classics, but whatever they play its gonna be one of hte best shows that i will ever see os i know i will be happy no matter what.
They should play Creep. It is a great song and it would get everyone involved. Especially those that are not big Radiohead fans. Also I have seen them play it twice live and both times Thom really seemed to like playing it. He really seemed to like how everyone sings along with him even though he changes the words up a little bit. Since they dont break it out too often, when they do break it out I think that they really get into it.
I am still hoping that they play for more that 2.5 hours. Give me 3 at least. Please.

well i dont have the time (well, just lazy) but they rarely play that long. Of the 5 shows ive been to i think only 1 was 2 hours. most were 1:45-ish. The most songs ive seen played is 24.
I'm a major Radiohead fan....that's mainly why I'm going to Bonnaroo...I figured it would probably be their first and only trip anywhere close to Tennessee. Creep...never was one of my favorite songs. It's...ok....but the things they've done since that album are way unbelievably fantastic compared. I didn't get into Radiohead after hearing Creep...like most...I became a fan after hearing OK Computer. I'm hoping they will play 'Life in a glass house' and 'Nude'...which they've been trying to put on an album since 97'...great song. I'd also love to hear 'Talk show host'...their new one '15 Step' and of course 'Lucky'. I've heard that Thom doesn't really like playing Creep anyway...because usually that's the only song most people know....and because it's a really personally sad song to him...I think it may freak him out that so many people get a kick out of it.

I may be wrong but I swore that they hated it when the crowd sings along, thats why they hardley ever play it...Its considered an insult in other countries to sing and yell while bands are expressing their souls onstage....I may be wrong but thats what I heard.

i dont know about that..in the "Meeting People is Easy" dvd..thom is just holding the mic up to the crowd as they belt out the lyrics to creep..he looked genuinely amuzed/impressed and definately didnt seem insulted. although that was at the tower in philly and not overseas.

I don't know about the whole people singing being an insult thing, but I thought he looked bored and a little annoyed during that part of MPIE...like, "yeah, yeah, yeah, you guys might as well sing this one"

I guess I'll have to watch it again....darn
hmm..i didnt take it like that, but you could be right..it is hard to tell with him sometimes..either way, its a pretty cool moment.
Yea....I could see that Thom looked a little bored in Meeting People is Easy. Radiohead isn't one of those bands that you...sing to while they perform. Actually..I wouldn't know...I've never seen them. All I can say is....I will be in total awe...i'm sure....way too amazed to be singing. Everyone I know who has seen them in concert says it's almost a "religious experience". I did read that thom got pissed off because they were playing '15 step' and no one was clapping. I guess he figured that real RH fans would have already got that song down. So...everyone...let's not piss Thom off...let's learn the clap to '15 step'!!...lol
