Worth mentioning that this is booked by the same people who book Kilby. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is their first festival outside of Utah, wonder if they have any other things in the works

I am really interested in this too. I was amazed at the lineup, then immediately saw S&S was promoting it. They're killing it with these affordable and highly-curated festivals, excited to see what else they have up their sleeves.

I kind of like the idea of 3 days and no conflicts. Not going to this, but it's more appealing to me than the When We Were Young/Sick New World marathon schedule logjams.
Where did you see that? I saw where GA+ and VIP has unlimited re-entry but never anything about charging for it.
Probably this. So these assholes wont let you replace a wristband like other festivals do for $30. They want you to pay another $200.
"Make sure you keep your wristband on for the entire event for access. If you lose, break, or misplace your wristband, you will need to purchase another ticket to enter the festival"

Ahh fair. There’s a few questionable rules. My favorites:
No refunds or exchanges. Refunds will not be issued in the event of cancellation outside of festival control. This includes but is not limited to poor weather, natural disasters, virus outbreaks, venue complications, etc.
and
Line-up and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be issued for any change in performances. Nor will refunds be issued in the event of a date postponement if the postponed date is scheduled within 12 months from the originally scheduled date.
I just assume this language is in most ticketing pages these days because I never read them.

So apparently the capacity for the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is 11 - 12k which makes this so so much more palatable. Comparing this to Punk Rock Bowling as it’s in the same location and scope, musically.
There are 36 bands at PBR vs 39 at BFF. I’m guessing 2 stages with a tent and the Main. I also doubt there’s any additions for this unless they add club shows. Really hoping they do.
I’m torn on where to stay in Fremont. It’s old Vegas and not as new and shiny as the strip but I’m fine with that. Anyone have any suggestions? Thinking Golden Nugget or 4 Queens as I've never stayed at either.

Vegas local checking in. Anywhere downtown will work! It’s really been spruced up over the last 5 years. Best properties down there imo are the Downtown Grand, Circa and Golden Nugget. Grand has a great pool and best table game pricing in town if that factors into tour decision. The venue is literally one block off the middle of the Fremont Street Experience.
A few of my friends actually run this venue, sound is great, easy to maneuver and they do a HEAVY pour on drinks.

This is Kilbys first expansion outside of Utah from what I saw, I bet they are really hoping it does well. From friends at the venue they are already looking at making this yearly if the event does well.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll pull the trigger on the Golden Nugget in a bit. It’s cheap enough and will do well not to walk all over the city to get there.

What you save in Ubers and being able to walk to and from the venue will be worth it to stay down there.

Not to be Goldilocks, but both the "60 bands each playing 6 songs" and this format of "40 bands over 3 days" are less appealing to me then just a simple two day weekend fest like FYF used to be.
If this was like a Saturday and Sunday, I would be there, but the thought of potentially being in Vegas from Thursday night to Monday morning is making me nauseous, and splitting this over three days makes this seem a little less appealing when you just divide the lineup into thirds
