So I posted this in the mingle if your single thread but it wasnt well received by that crowd so I will ask it here.
I was kinda wondering how likely is an actual roo hookup? I mean I wouldnt think it would be that difficult with the atmosphere and I know some people say not likely cuz the music trumps all but I find it hard to believe that you cant have both. Just wondering
I am not saying I am looking and am not going for that reason, I mean I wouldnt rule it out ha ha, but it is not my intent I was just kinda wondering
Personally, I've never hooked up at Roo, and it never seemed like I was anywhere near hooking up. The environment doesn't really lend to random sexual encounters, in my opinion. Sure there are lots of cute chicks in tiny shorts and skirts and stuff, and music is an aphrodisiac, but on top of those things you have the oppressive heat, the mind-altering... music.., the energy expenditure of walking for miles and dancing for hours, and of course the time potentially spent away from the music while you're having sex. Does that mean I would rule it out completely? Of course not I'd love to have sex at Roo, I just don't find it a very important or even likely goal.
As far as I'm concerned, its the best way to start the day. . And end it..... Doesn't matter how tired I am, theres always some energy in reserves for sexy time. However, I don't plan on missing too much good music for it!!
Gesh thank you. If you are to tired for sex you shouldn't be having it in the first place. And as I said I am not saying its a goal I was just wondering.
Dawn of time we figured out how. Since then we've learned that anywhere is accecptable. The problem is in the United States theres a false sense of modisty and morality.Get over those two things and we are back to the dawn of time. So who's ready.

Oh this post kinda crosses two threads so i am going to post it here. Random roo goals is the other thread it should go under but random roo goal.......to hear two people just going at it late at night while just sitting around my tent with my new friends talking and relaxing
I'm sure you can make that happen if you creep around enough.

I had sex with my girlfriend the first night of Bonnaroo 2005 in the tent, but after that I wouldn't even consider it. Too sweaty and just ugh in general. Also, some drunk dude fell onto our tent and onto me while I was doing my thing at the worst possible moment. Shout out to him for almost giving me blue balls.
Last year it never even crossed my mind. Theres just too much other good stuff going on. I danced and flirted with some girls and made plans with a couple from Chicago that I could hang out with after the weekend. Other than that, no. It wasn't a priority. Not even close.
However this year I'm going VIP, and I wonder if being cleaner/less exhausted would make a difference.
Regardless, condoms should always be part of everyone's Roo packing list even if they dont expect to get laid. Seriously. Nobody wants a 'Roo baby not to mention an STD from a girl that actually lets you quack her in a tent after just meeting.
I'd love to have sex at Roo, I just don't find it a very important or even likely goal.
