Bonnaroo should take notes from LIB regarding their comedy lineup. This one's pretty solid (Michelle Wolfe, Pete Davidson, Hannibal Burress, Natasha Leggero).

Called off my idea to go after realizing I live on the east coast and would have to deal with the three hour timezone difference when attending late night sets. But I'm happy for y'all that it goes until 1am, with plenty of sets happening in full darkness.

on American too so no extra bag fees and all that crap you have to pay with Spirit and Frontier. Im trying to look how much i paid to go to Vegas back in November, i think i paid like 370 with a stop on the way

If this is true, that means attendance will hit at least 210k people over the 3 days which takes Life is Beautiful up to ACL/OSL levels of attendance. Crazy how much this festival has grown in such a short time.

This fest doesn’t get enough credit for booking some of the more interesting lineups over the past three years. Last year the lineup was good enough to where I was considering making a Vegas trip around it but I opted for iii points instead. I’m excited to see a fest grow and be successful while booking somewhat interesting lineups. Definitely a fest I’ll keep my eye on as the attendance and budget grows.

What acts do you think they've booked that are interesting and deserve more credit? I've heard it's a good festival and I don't think their lineups are bad, but it's 90% stuff that has played a bunch of other festivals that calendar year, so like the opposite of interesting to me...
Correct me if im wrong but off the top of my head i cant recall NERD, Justice, Tyler, Death Cab, Santigold, The Presets, Wolf Mother being at a ton fo US festivals this year.

I don’t necessarily mean they’re booking exclusive acts like Aphex Twin, etc.But it doesn’t feel as cookie cutter as other festivals. A good percentage of the acts this year and last only played 2-3 fests as opposed to doing the entire circuit.
Overall, I think it's one of the most well rounded festivals in the country with their Learning/Ideas series, a Comedy lineup, Food/Culinary with their Chef demos, and Art with their Art Motel, installations, etc. In 2015 for instance, you can sit in and listen to Bill Nye the Science Guy, eat food from Chef Hubert Keller, see art from Banksy, and end the night with Stevie Wonder.

Elderbrook, Sir Sly, and Cold War kids doing pool pre-parties each day free for attendees if you RSVP on the website. Grabbed one for each day but only planning on going on Friday since there is no football on in the morning.

Agreed I hope the schedule stays this way for the most part and I’ll be pretty happy. Is anyone doing any of the pre party shows at the grand pool. We registered for all 3 but probably will only make Cold War Kids that Sunday

Registered for all 3 but I’m only anticipating going Friday. I gotta bet on and watch some football games Saturday and Sunday plus the eagles are at 10am Sunday
