"Erased Tapes rounds off a jubilant year of tenth anniversary celebrations with a very special release, 1+1=X, a set of exclusive music from every artist on the label. Featuring never before heard tracks from Nils Frahm, Kiasmos and A Winged Victory For The Sullen, 1+1=X sees Erased Tapes artists come together to make an album as a collective. Sharing the same space, instruments and each others’ capabilities during a residency at Vox-Ton studio in Berlin, they recorded 20 songs to mark the label's 10-year history. The 3-LP box set, produced by label curator Robert Raths, is released on Record Store Day, April 21st 2018."
Daniel Rossen is releasing a couple solo songs for record store day
Also: "In the near future (can’t commit to a timescale more specific than that) I will try to finish the rest of the jumble of songs and fragments that I’ve been mulling over, throwing out, retrieving from the trash, reworking, and starting over for the last 5 years and hopefully come back with an actual album length release…"

Reggie Watts and John Tejada are putting out an album together.
The first album from John Tejada and Reggie Watts' Wajatta project is due out on May 11th, 2018.
The label describes Casual High Technology as "electronic dance music with its roots in Detroit techno, Chicago house, '70s funk and New York hip-hop." Reggie Watts, who is known for performances and short films that unite comedy and beat-boxing, lends his vocals (both live and looped) to Tejada's productions. The tracks span across a wide range of styles and tempos, from 88 BPM to 139 BPM. The duo are preparing a live interpretation of the album for a debut performance at Los Angeles' Teregram Ballroom on May 23rd.
They already released the first album single, "Runnin'," online last month. It'll get pressed to 7-inch on March 30th.

I'm all for supporting this charity, but man that Louisiana 1927 doesn't compare to the original.
