I've done really well and stuck to my eating and workout plan 100% for the past 7 days. After a slip up last weekend I wanted to stay on track. I went to a party and brought my own snacks so I wouldn't be tempted if I got hungry.
Does anyone ever have anyone say negative remarks about you trying to lose weight? I feel like I hear things like.....you need to enjoy life...you only live once have some pizza.

I haven't checked in here yet but Ive been a part of the bet from the start. I weighed myself this morning and I'm .2 lbs from my goal weight! Cutting out soda and walks have helped me a lot.
So I got online last night and looked at my bets. I'm trying really hard here but I'm still 2ish lbs away and I've got a music festival this weekend. I really don't want to lose my money. I need some moral support guys.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of walking in this weekend. Try to eat a healthy meal before you head out to the festival if that's an option and try to bring a few healthy snacks into the festival if you want. I honestly always smuggle food into Lolla with my booze because I don't want to eat their garbage. I'm a rebel sneaking grapes past security.
I used one of my tokens today. Not too many people weighed in it seemed so I have good odds of winning the prize.

Ok I thought the music festival was going to ruin me, but I completely underestimated the amount of calories I burned by walking around and dancing my ass off. At Coachella I averaged around 30,000k steps a day, and 3000 calories a day of delicious food (seriously, I ate like a beast) and I ended up losing weight both weekends when all was said and done.
Also, don't pay much attention to the scale, because the increase in sodium coupled with the extra activity will spike your water weight and it might seem at first that you gained. Wait until a few days after to judge the damage.

ok. you're right. i can do this. i plan on dancing and walking a lot. it doesn't take much for me to get drunk so i don't really worry about the intake there since it won't be that much. And I remember beale street having some *decent* food options and splitting things with my friends so we didn't get the huge portions.

So, yesterday I hit my target. Today I was 3 lbs. over. How much water did I drink today?!?!?!
I am also fluctuating right on the border. Watch your sodium intake too. Salty foods always tend to spike my water weight. Also, drinking more water helps so it flushes shit out. Just keep peein!
Well, I'm back to my pre-beale street weight. which still isn't my target. Sigh. I'm trying to hang in there. I really am. I thought for sure my 24,000 steps in one day this weekend vs my normal 7k steps would've made a huge difference! This week I'm literally on the "bare minimal to survive" diet
Lots and lots of water for these last few days! (As I'm on coffee #3 before 9) But for me water makes a huge difference. I've added a few more glasses a day and it helps with hunger and my skin looks nice and clear. I donated my money in advance of the pot being paid out to the lovely QSAROO since Roo will be here quicker than we know it. hopefully I maintain my weight loss and get a piece of the pot, otherwise it's still money well spent. Mother's Day will have lots of food around so I plan to do a double workout. I can't wait for this to be over so I can enjoy a beer!!

So in order to celebrate THE END OF TIME the end of this Diet Bet I just had a frozen deep dish sausage pizza with cheese sticks delivered to my house. AHHHHH!!! It looks so good, it's giving me the stink eye right now. I said I was planning to do double workouts the next few days buuuuuut......that doesn't appear to be happening. I'm off work until Monday so it really should though.
