Yeah man. It's going to be interesting with the addition of the online graphic element. Loved everything we saw yesterday, but I'm only now catching the Descendents because they conflicted with night 3 Disco Biscuits yesterday. I think I'm most excited for them at Red Rocks late tonight, but I am interested in the Aphex Twin set. And Rothric mentioned Sleep who I don't know much about, but I trust his tastes.
Is there a website where a person can look ahead at festivals with live streaming including schedules and access information? Watching Coachella and a few streams last summer were the coolest thing. I really appreciate esteban's help hooking that up. I think I read TTB was live streaming from Oakland but, I missed it.
Pond is streaming on Channel 1 at Red Bull. They were not announced on the schedule. I'll try to catch a replay later.
The streaming schedule for Primavera seems to change all the time, it's changed since Aphex started. Thankfully, they list the current stuff at the bottom of the page, and it converts to your local time zone:

Not that I'm aware, but would love to find a site/database with that info. We just try to keep each other up to date here for the most part.
Thanks @rothric I enjoyed the Pond show. Keith Moon on the lead guitar I see. I'll be doing NHL tonight, but this is a much appreciated thread. Ditto esteban .

Hey Bob,
I'm sure there is, but I haven't been able to find a specific site that shows everything coming up. Usually I run across news on specific shows or runs (like the current Disco Biscuits Colorado run they free streaming on their YouTube site ending tonight) from a variety of sources like by reading Jambase, Live for Live Music and Pitchfork. Pitchfork does a lot of rock and jam streams. nugs.net has thousands of shows, some of them are free, but they only do live shows sometimes. Tidal is a service you can buy - Jay-Z or somebody big owns it, and it's a subscription site. I don't have it, but sometimes they carry big shows and concerts. Red Bull TV has a lot of stuff covered for the summer free. They will be streaming Bonnaroo next weekend as well as Demon Dayz (Gorillaz' Festival) next week, Roskilde after that, then Lollapolooza in August and finally ACL in October. They don't usually release the schedules until the day before or a couple of days before, and they are always changing live based on performer cancellations, changes of plans, scheduling and shit so you get some surprises. For the big festivals, Red Bull generally streams either 2 or 3 channels. You can just go to their site at redbulltv.com or if you have a smart TV or any type of internet connection, they have an application you can download free. It works on mobile, Xbox, Play Station or really any console format. It's super easy to install and is pretty great to have because you can switch pretty easily among their channels. But you don't need the app as you can always direct link anything they are streaming from their website.
Umphrey's and some other rock and jam bands stream through tourgigs.com We just saw like 3 shows last month (one in person), and they're doing Red Rocks shows in early July. That's another site that streams but has tons of full concerts you can buy or pay when you stream (as well as some free stuff).
For TTB news, and you know I try to hit you up when I see that, I think Jambase and probably nugs.net are the best bets. Jambase streamed a 3 night TTB run of shows in January, but I missed that. And nugs.net did one last week. Like I said, nugs is only partially free, but you can buy a lot of shows for like $10 a stream. I think their next feature is Dead and Company this month where they are broadcasting like 6 or 7 shows in a row.
I'm sure someone knows way more than me about this. I just crack out on concerts when I can especially if I'm just hanging around at the crib. There's always shit I want to see happening. I'll try to post whatever I run across here on this thread and then PM or in appropriate thread otherwise. Bonnaroo live schedule should be out Wed or Thurs, but I know you are already going to that. Roskilde comes up in like 3 weeks, and there's something for everybody on that lineup. No telling what all shows they're going to play, but here's the lineup:
Arab Strap is pretty cool. Some chill, buzzy shoe gazing rock.
I can't get the Red Bull site to load (think it's bc my connection is slow, and I'm dl the Aphex set right now), so I can't see the updated streaming schedule. Do you still see King Gizzard or Sleep on it? Hoping those two still get streamed.
And Sleep is the ultimate stoner rock/metal band, you should definitely check them out.
Will do. I can't see the schedules because the link goes to "oops". But I still have the stream running live on one tv through an Xbox and another through Play station. So they are up, but just the shows and not schedule. Arab Strap is on the one channel and they are talking on the other one. I'll post what comes on when they go to music.
Ok, so the error isn't on my end then. The link at Red Bull keeps giving that oops error too. Ya, I keep bouncing back and forth checking as well. I'm enjoying Arab Strap.
