2.) Florence + The Machine - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
I also enjoyed: Of Monsters And Men, Leon Bridges, Kacey Musgraves, and Miguel. Vince Staples album wasn't everything that I hoped for but I only listened to it once. Wasn't the biggest fan of Four Tet and most of Thundercat.
2017: 2/24 Twenty One Pilots 4/1 Radiohead 6/7 Glass Animals 9/10 Modest Mouse 9/21 Arcade Fire 9/29 Kings of Leon 10/3 Foster the People 10/17 The xx 10/22 LCD Soundsystem 11/8 Bon Iver
Yeah I was gonna vote for Jamie xx too and I'll write it down for my personal tally, but who really gives a shit at this point? That record is saturated with so much awesome, it's almost unreasonable.
Also, I haven't even listened to that new Tame Impala yet, but there's almost no way that anything tops Ratatat for me this month. I'm sure I'll enjoy plenty of releases this month, but that band hold such a special place in my musical experience, that I'd feel weird giving it to anything else. Come after me though, July, let's do this.

I'll see your Ratatat and raise you a Chemical Brothers.
I've never really been a Chemical Brothers fan, personally. I'll probably end up checking the album out anyway, but the likelihood that I enjoy it more than Ratatat's is pretty slim. I'm willing to be proved wrong, I just know I'll be listening to this album (along with the rest of their catalogue) for the rest of my life simply because of what it is. That sentiment could prove tricky to beat.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Don't think I missed anything before 7/7, but if I did, lemme know and I'll edit it in.
