I hope they are wrong. But time will tell. American Horror isn't that great, these guys are doing some remarkable work in this series. Maybe they'll realize it's a mistake to have a totally different premise the next season, maybe not. We'll see.
Orrrrr maybe they'll do a 100% better job of it, because HBO kicks ass at almost all of their original series?
I like series where I really get into the characters. Mrs. Memphis watches American Horror. But even she admitted the last season wasn't as good as the first or the current. HBO does do a good job with series. I hated when bored to death ended though.

I think the anthology approach is great for television. It allows stories to not become so predictable. If the story is limited to one season you don't have to look for ways to come up with twists to keep it going and can have a conclusion if you choose. Characters are disposable, and things don't become strung out and boring.
I just hold of a tv and hooked it up after a few weeks of being without. This definitely is on my must-watch list. Guess I'll go to HBO go and catch up. Matthew McConaughey is one of those rare actors who I don't care if he can act. He's serious eye candy to me.
This show just went to another level after tonight's episode. I think I'm in love.
I done been in love.
I've been longing for the feeling that Breaking Bad had me feel once upon a time. I thought this show was pretty fucking good in its first 3 weeks...but jesus, this episode had me feeling like Tuco after a taste of Walter White's concoction. TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT!!! But for real, this episode had me wired.

They really packed the action into that episode. Both detectives had some major emotional setbacks and Cole looks to be heading towards the meltdown that may have lead him to his present state of character 10 years later.
