I talked to ian's dad while i was at the boyle this weekend and the show is going to be outside this year with some tents put up in the parking lot. Hopefully we have some nice weather.

Cool, should be a good time. I may or may not try going to the NYC show. I need to cut down on concerts and I've seen them a bunch of times. Gonna be a last-minute decision most likely.

Yeah i've had the same dilemma lately. I had tickets for the show the Coen brothers put together at the town hall in my shopping cart last week and didn't buy them cause i need to stop spending so much. This show at least is just 5 minutes from my place so it's an easier decision even though i've seen them 4 times already this year.
I enjoyed the track "Trash". I'm not a big fan of the album after two listens. It may grow on me or maybe I haven't heard it in the right surroundings yet.
I saw them about a week ago. I love War Elephant, but really not a huge fan of Negativity after a pair of listens. It was a fun high energy show and they sounded much better than when last I heard them (Roo 2011?). The version of Dirty Dishes that they played was magnificent.
Not a huge fan of this album. Some songs are good. But as a whole I feel like it blends in with every other average roots rock album released in the past 5 years.

It's been alright. I've only listened to it fully a couple of times. Definitely seems like a mellower/personal album but the songs aren't jumping out to me yet like some of the past ones. Need to listen a few more times and get to know the names of the songs.
