Pete still hasn't gotten to be more likeable. And Don now seems to have a few more redeeming qualities. Peggy has become one of the best characters no doubt.

Hey dumbsh*t, if you're going to call me out on something, be accurate. I never said he was "likable," I said he is "one of the best characters on the show." The same way Tywin Lannister is one of the best characters in the GoT series, but a horrible guy. Bad people can be great characters. I don't know how you can say Don is more likable the more you find out about him, feel free to explain that one.

Whoah. First off dude is calling me a dumbshit necessary? I wasn't trying to insult you... I was just saying that I've now made it further in the show and I disagreed. I don't think getting so defensive is really necessary here. Just trying to continue (what I thought was) a friendly conversation we had a while ago.
Sorry my memory was a bit faulty. I thought you said he was likeable. I still don't like him, though his character development has been pretty great. With the exception of Peggy I think he's come the furthest.
At this point in season five he has been open about his past with Megan, which was a step forward. He's become more caring toward his children. And one of the biggest things was when he went to the brothel with Pete, Roger, and the Jaguar guy and Don was the only one who didn't cheat on his wife. The speech he gave Pete in the cab said a lot about his character this season.
Of course my opinion on Don could change as I still have half of season 5 and all of season 6 to watch.

When you go out of your way to go "ohbytheway, Flanzo, you were wrong!" and you're not even correct in that stance I get to call you a dumbsh*t. It's in the bi-laws. You could've just went back and read the posts (which is what I did in about 3 minutes to confirm I never said that).
I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say you're falling for the same act Megan is when it comes to Don.

By-laws (or bylaws).
Bi-laws are a totally different ball of wax.
Oh god dammit. I've typed "Bi-level" about 36x in the past 20 minutes, I think my brain is frying.

Alright man well I'm sorry if straight up saying "you are wrong" wasn't tactful. I was just trying to say I still didn't agree regarding Pete, but like I said my memory of the conversation wasn't accurate anyway. I could have went back and read them but I didn't, out of laziness. My bad dude, wasn't trying to be confrontational or anything.
Like I said I'm sure my mind will still change. shiz already started to hit the fan between them in the last episode I watched (episode where Roger takes LSD). Which on a side note has probably been one of, if not my top, favorite episodes yet.
Yeah, the Roger/LSD episode is one of my favorites, too. Mainly because Roger is awesome, but it was just very well done. Season 6 is just one disaster after another, in the most glorious way, I think you'll really like that one.

This is setting the bar for good behavior pretty low, though.
Haha yeah it's a low bar.. but it's a small victory when looking at Don's history, I think the speech he gave Pete was the more defining moment. But then that all kind of did a 180 in the next episode.. Excited to see where the Pete story goes after that particular episode too.
