Understandable. Just saying where I think he'd be. I think it'd be perfect as a LN tent, but there's a lot of confirmed acts you could say that about already so it'll be interesting to see who grabs those spots. ITM no they haven't, but if it's not then it's got to be the most misleading roo clue ever.

I would hate for him to be in like Mac Millers slot... It would just get so rowdy if it was A$AP Rocky --> TNGHT at That Tent like Black Star --> Flying Lotus last year. It was just a great night for me
Nah, Big Boi played in The Other opposite Bassnectar/Black Angels/Lil Wayne. I guess Roo expected Wayne to draw a huge portion of the rap crowd but he didn't. It was still quackin crowded.

Big Boi's set was possibly my favorite hip-hop set at Roo ever. Of course I've been listenin to Outkast since Southernplayalistic came out so I may be biased. Full band, horn section, dancers...so off tha hook. Coulda only been better if 3Stacks had been there.
And I'd def be down for a Big Boi return. The energy at that show was crazy.
Just throwing this out there as far as A$AP placement goes...album just debuted at #1 with 141k estimated in sales. If we thought Kendrick was heading to the which, A$AP would have serious consideration for that too. Why haven't we kicked around LN which?

I recently discovered Clear Soul Forces thanks to one of Henrik's previous posts and I would love to have them at Bonnaroo this year.
Also, I doubt both Kendrick AND Asap get the which stage. You'll also have to consider that either Wu-Tang and/or A Tribe Called Quest is expected to be there. If all four acts get a main stage then there'll be a lot of complaints from common folk about Bonnaroo being a rap festival this year. Im thinking we get Wu-Tang at night on the Which, Kendrick in a Childish Gambino 2012 type time slot on the Which and Asap gets a late night tent.
You'll also have to consider that either Wu-Tang and/or A Tribe Called Quest is expected to be there.
Please explain.
Wu-Tang just because of 20th anniversary and Primavera most likely, and the only defense for Tribe would be the random fest they're doing in Sweden. However, I don't see Tribe being there and Wu-Tang could easily be on What stage. So, not sure if this will end up making any difference as far as Which stage performances are concerned.

Tackitt pretty much covered my reasoning for Wu-Tang and Tribe Called Quest. It began when I had seen a month or so back in the headliner thread that a higher billed rap act was possibly expected and these were the two names most had agreed upon.
As for AC's top albums list, I just meant that the favorite albums from 2012 of the company that put's on Bonnaroo is a good indication that they'll likely target those particular acts for this year's festival.

It would be cool to see some rap shows in smaller areas like the cafes. K'naan is the only show that I remember being like that. It would obviously have to be a smaller/more underground artist (maybe Shad?), or something like that. But it would be cool to have an intimate show that is more like an acoustic show, just about the lyrics and flow, and not so much about production and stage show. I love big productions like most rap shows are, but this would be cool too.

It would be, somewhat, random to have guest appearances from OF members. There is always the possibility some of the guys fly in with Earl or Frank if they are there, but its not like Coachella, where they are already in the neighborhood and can stop by for the day.

When I caught the Odd Future show in Chicago in 2012 we saw Frank and Earl getting out from the van onto the bus and they didn't perform that night, so that led me to believe they may travel around together just in general haha
