Not bad, but I want to feel your complete and utter sense of fear due to the fact that you're actually having a convo with the fairer sex. Trembles, pitty sweats, the whole 9.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I've been pronouncing Björk's name wrong for about 5 years, and have also never listened to her music.
If pressed, I could probably quote most episodes of 30 Rock or Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia verbatim.
My car has no AUX port or cassette thing for an AUX plugin, so my car currently is stuffed to the gills with 120 CDs (many of which probably aren't on the Inforoo-approved list).

Two things: 1. How were you pronouncing Bjork? 2. Regarding 30 Rock, I would gladly have full conversations with you in nothing but quotes from the show. It's the greatest show ever created.

With a hard 'j' haha. And I fully agree; it's utterly divine. The source of my shame is that instead of branching out to other TV shows I haven't seen I just watch my comfort food shows ad nauseum.

So very much this. I've seen every episode of Friends at least 8 times, like, at the VERY least. Being very generous to myself there by underselling it.
I've seen HIMYM around 3-4 times, Parks & Rec 2-3 times, That 70s Show 3-4 times,, etc. I rarely branch out to new shows because I just love my old favorites so much. Same with movies. You may not be aware, by this pattern of behavior has lead to a very limited knowledges of most TV & movie references and has resulted in hours of teasing.
Don't be like me. Change your ways while you're young.

If I watch an episode of anything/movie I usually won't watch it again for at least 6 years.

Since we got rid of our dish, we will just go through shows start to finish on Netflix now. Currently on Season 7 of Frasier. We've previously done Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, That 70's Show, and more.
If you like That 70's Show, I would recommend trying Grounded for Life if you haven't seen it already. I don't know what the deal was, but there was a lot of weird overlaps between those two shows. I love Grounded for Life, but I never hear anyone mention it.
I unironically enjoy Third Eye Blind's first two albums a lot and I'm looking forward to seeing them at Bonnaroo
I only know 2 songs and I'm going to see them.
Actually now that I really look at it we should probably just go to Sam Bush. We had planned to leave after FJM, until Watkins Family Hour was announced as part of the Bluegrass Superjam.

My parents used to play the first two albums a lot when I was a kid. So I guess a lot of it is nostalgia. But still, these songs still sound good to me when I listen to them now. It's not like I have high expectations for Third Eye Blind, or that I objectivly consider them a good nostalgia act in a year that has almost no nostalgia acts. I'm even gonna get there kind of late because of DCFC. But I think it'll still be enjoyable.

I actually broke the sink nozzle at work and put it back together. However, I have like two pieces left over that were apart of the sink nozzle that are not in it now. Sunday is my last day so I think I'll just hide these pieces.
I don't get the love for In the Aeroplane over the Sea.
Me neither. I've tried. You and I should probably leave this thread.
Yes. Immediately please.
In all seriousness though, it does really surprise me when music lovers don't like that album. I rarely encounter one who doesn't, actually, but I guess there are a few right here
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

.... I don't love it either....
I saw NMH when they were in MPLS to see if it would make me "get it"... but it didn't. I didn't dislike it by any means, but I definitely didn't love it, either. the only thing I really loved about the live show was the live brass section.
I think part of it is I don't have any nostalgic connection to NMH like most people who are obsessed with them do.

Sure, I understand. My feelings are similar to smellycat's, I don't hate NMH, don't even dislike them really, I just don't connect to the record on any meaningful level. But hey, I'm always up for giving acclaimed records another chance. I'll put on aeroplane soon and see how it makes me feel.

I first listened to ITAOTS in 2013 and loved it ever since. Absolutely no emotional attachment to it.
