Got to Exit 111 at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday and they were already kicking everyone down to 127. Did the loop thing and got in line about 4:15 or so. Waited 45 minutes and apparently they had a shift change at the gate at 5 a.m., then the line started to move finally. The sun was rising by the time I got parked and started to set up in Pod 10 (Camp David Wooderson). So total lag time for me = about 2½ hours.
On leaving, I now feel like a stupid quacker for following the signs back out to I-24 my first time. This time I ignored the sign, turned right onto 41 off Asbury Road and was on the interstate in less than a mile. As long as no cones were up and no troopers were directing traffic, I went for it.

Got in line at about 12:45 am thursday morning on I-24 West. At the toll booths by 1:30 am. they had two lines after the tolls going down the road. We were the ones on the right side and noticed that the left line was moving much faster than we were. We almost hopped over to that line we were getting so anxious. Then we noticed that the left line was being directed to the back, probably to the Camp Peter Griffin area.
We ended up being camped in Camp Adrien! by 2 am. the closest GA camping spot you can get! it was even closer than some of the VIP spots technically. Hell Yeah.

Stayed in Murfreesboro Weds night, got rolling SB on I-24 about 530am, down in to Manchester around 6am. We noticed the exits for 111 and everything after were all blocked off and they were routing people down to 127. Looking at a map, we figured they were probably routing folks down around the farm and through the east tollbooths to pods 10 and 11. We couldn't get much other than some highway chatter on the radios we had set up (looks like they went all digital this year), but the other car in our 2-car caravan heard that they opened exit 111, so we looped down to exit 134 and then got back on I-24 heading NB and avoided 127 altogether. Got off at 111, drove straight up to the west tollbooth no wait, no search, and they let us pull off and wait for our other car. We got off the highway at about 6:30am, parked in the SW corner of camp Ed Rooney (at 3rd Ave/3rd St), a beer's throw from the Pod 3 balloon, and set everything up by about 8am.

We arrived around 2 pm on Thursday. No line whatsoever getting into Bonnaroo from the Highway (West) Entrance. I was afraid we had to wait for 6+ hours (as we had to in 2010). They put us in Camp 11: Zed (GA RV). Good spot, right off the tollbooth.
We had two friends of us with us that never been before... I almost wished that there would have been a 20 - 30 minute wait, just so they at least experienced the line for a bit. I talked about it a lot!
We showed up earlier than we'd expected... like noon on Wednesday, before they were even letting a line form. Hung out for awhile in a parking lot with other Roo'ers.
We got caught up in the debacle created by the local police. Apparently someone started letting a line form early, and were directing traffic toward the entrance before the gates were open. This got us shunted off into some neighborhood where nobody had a clue what was going on.
Side note --- we helped lift (yes, lift, as in by hand, using back power) a Lexus out of a ditch where it was hung on an axle.
Some of us ducked down DEEP into this neighborhood and parked for about an hour and a half or so. We ended up going in the West gate, and I'm willing to bet we were one of the first 500-750 cars in.
You know exactly where that got us camped. Pod 1. However, I'm pretty sure that in 2010, they filled the BFE pod 1 area from West to East, closest to centeroo to farthest. NOT THIS YEAR!
We were in the far Northeast corner of Camp Q. yay.
Arrived at 7 pm Wednesday via Hillsborough/Asbury (NE Gate). Waited in line about 1 hour before getting parked and very nearly got sent to BFE. . . Marked an aerial photo with a pin where our camp was. Prime spot!

Exit 111 heading North on I-24 around 3:30pm WEDNESDAY, took Ragsdale to Bushy Branch. We were inching along Bushy Branch because other inforoosters told us that gates were closed and they were turning people away. We were able to confirm this by seeing the train of cars heading out saying they got turned away. Pretty soon the stream of cars exiting stopped, so we assumed the gates were open. At this point we were well off the interstate. We tollboothed shortly after and got into camp no problem. Pod 1.
We took I24 and had to go around that loop (where they make you exit then get back on) got there at about 5:45PM. Had absolutely no wait, minimal searching of our vehicle (we didn't really have anything anyways), ended up in Han Solo near the RVs/portos (not RIGHT near though), with TONS of room. The volunteers I encountered this year were awesome
