So today I decided to do my last test run with putting up the tent. When I took it down I wasn't paying attention and the bungee snapped. Can I still put it together without the bungee or what should I do?
The name for that bungee is the shock cord, and you can buy a shock cord repair kit from REI for $6. If you want to do a good enough kind of repair you can use a bit of dental floss or other small cord to tie the broken cord back together (at least on my tent putting a knot in the elastic cord made it too thick to go through the pole). You can duct tape the sections of pole together, but it would be a pain in the ass to ever use the tent again. Something like masking tape might work but still be easy to remove.
