Last year was the first for an official Wednesday open so we don't have much precedent and it could be very different this year. That being said, we got in line about 7PM Wednesday last year and I think we were parked by about 10ish.

1-2 hr wait? The trek to T.O. is rough, but worth it. A dolly, wagon or cart is a lifesaver. Break it up into 3 trips, based on essentials. On Wed night, just haul your tents, quickshade & corn-roaster. Thursday, food, booze, clothes. Fri, reinforcements\toys. It's still 3 trips vs 20 hikes over the course of 4 days.
Edit: You don't have to haul anything back. Just pull the car down Sun eve or Mon morn & pack up.
last year we got in around 6pm in an rv and were a 10 minute walk to centeroo. right along the road next to vip. now that was amazing. cars went by for 5-6 hours into bfe.

Now THAT is interesting. My wife and I just bought an RV a few weeks ago, and although this year will be the first 'Roo we've missed since we started going in 2008, we might just have to bring the beast in on Wednesday night next year if this becomes the trend.
007/BFE is not[/b][/u] that bad anymore. PODs 10 and 11 (and I think one more) are much farther away than POD 1. The journey from POD 1 to Centeroo can be a drag on Thursday when the VIP/What Stage entrance isn't open (unless it was changed this year?), but after that it's a breeze the rest of the weekend. There is no shortcut from those other PODs. Just a long walk ahead of you.
Yeah we were in 007 last year and it was kind of nice. We were right next to the trees so had decent shade to go lay under every morning, plus we never had to wait long at the What entrance. I definitely wouldn't mind being parked there again, especially considering how much worse it can get.

I got stuck in James Bong last year when i came in on Weds (Pu*sy Galore i think). It wasn't and AWFUL walk but this year i plan to bring my groups camp to T.O but how bad is it to carry everything over there? Or maybe to find a generous soul with a dolly or cart to use?

I have actually decided that instead of getting POD 11 or 13 this year, I will come uber early to secure a spot in BFE. After several beers and long talks with my camp mates, (who are all Roo virgins) that would would rather know where we will be, get on the farm early and have a shortcut open later in the weekend and just deal with the walk (which, as it has already been noted, is shorter walk than what I will deem WayTheHeckOutThere). So far the plan means we will be in Manchester before 5pm on Wednesday and just head to the line when we get done at Wal-mart.
I lucked out last year. We got parked about 30 minutes after POD 1 filled up (we had camp set up by about 1:30 am IIRC) We had about a 5-10 minute walk to centeroo. So getting there early doesn't necessarily mean BFE camping.
Last year we came in on Wednesday night and Tent Only was closed? I wonder if they corrected it this year...
My wife was stuck in TO and I was parking the car and we couldn't get to each other. No one would let us leave where we were...It was totally weird. My wife ended up having to jump a fence and run. Did anyone else experience this

I got there pretty early Wednesday night last year, like 7:30PM early, and landed in Camp Marty McFly. Less than five minutes to Centeroo. Guess there's really no way to tell how you'll luck out.

I don't remember seeing any fences around tent only. And there were people hauling stuff there all night.

Oh I bet you were in POD 1! I was right there with ya brother. Got parked at 10pm, promplty strapped all my stuff to my dolly and went running for the land rush only to be stopped at the gate out of the POD. They don't let anyone out of POD 1 until 8am on Thursday's because of the service road. I sat there all night and made friends with all the other tent-only folks. Luckily one group had someone on "the outside" stake out a spot so they let me camp with them.
