Steph in the second photo, you can see Greg's white headband in the back (under the A). This was when he was walking offstage; he patted Mayo and myself on the arm as he walked by. So we are behind all of these folks, being patted on the arm, as that photo was taken
We were probably only "visible" for a bit, when we managed to get up front for a few minutes. Most people parked themselves in the front once they got there, so we didn't get much opportunity to be right in the front. We were content to dance in the back, because it was a lot cooler back there.
And.... I found a video! (Music/sound possibly NSFW)
At 0:05, on the big screen. You'll see the back of my hair flopping around and Mayo full-on as we dance!! Only lasts for a few seconds, so you gotta look quickly! ;D

There were far too many people at the festival. Also, the stages were too low. We were about 30 feet from the stage for Foo Fighters and we could barely see the tops of their heads, I ended up watching the monitors. We hung back on the hill on Saturday and thought the sound was OK.

The Pearl Jam poster looks sick.
I'm glad I went to Deluna over this. There were probably no more than 12,000 people or so Fri and Saturday. Got to party in the water during PJ and Foo's.

That's so awesome you guys...I'm jealous! How did you manage to get on stage?

I am friends with a girl who is legit friends with Gregg. She is onstage at practically all of his southeastern shows. So we found her at side stage, and she gave us the low-down on how to achieve stage-dom. It took a little work, and Im SO PROUD of JHo for overcoming her sweaty-pushing-crowd fear to get in - we did it and it was SO FUN. I've found us in a few other videos since then too! We were right behind him for most of the set - only made it to the front front of the stage for a couple songs, but it was at the end and we were SO TIRED, we decided to get back behind Gregg and enjoy the air. The stage peeps go back and forth with air blowers to keep everyone cooled off. So we enjoyed that.
SO MUCH FUN. Highlight of my weekend, and definitely one of the MOST FUN times I've EVER had at a fest.
Wish I was that guy. I only got these pictures by holding my camera above my head. JP you are right, the stages were low. "Crazy Mary", first encore. I am about 30 feet from the stage. "Alive", second encore. Art pieces found at Midtown. I recognized the work. )'( Wood is placed in these and set a blaze! Although, they were not allowed to operate them in "Fire Mode"at Midtown, I can attest, they are rather cool to see when in full fire mode.
Even with all the people, I had a great time at Midtown. Nice venue and I loved being that close to Pearl Jam, although I payed for it, I will not even go into how much I loved it. ;D Seeing Luda again was good. Wish we could of got some Blue Berry Yum-Yum. FATM was amazing. After an embarrassing start, she pulled it together nicely. Foo Fighters really impressed me, I was blown away by the show and Dave does a great job interacting with the crowd. It is clear he is having a good time on stage. Biggest surprise was the Avett Brothers. I was set on seeing PJ, I forgot about them. That was a great show, even with a dropped Cello, which happened while they were jamming the last song.

Last year they announced around April 26th so we've defiantly past the date. I figured last week would be the trigger pull after Shaky Knees, but nothing.
I'm working on a post now on what I think the lineup will end up being. Imagine Dragons just added dates to their tour and have Saturday off between going from Maryland to Florida. I would see them in the Florence+the Machine spot. They'd be a great Atlanta draw.
I'm thinking Vampire Weekend, Imagine Dragons, Head and the Heart/Alabama Shakes, Childish Gambino, Big Boi, Washed Out, Matt and Kim would be a couple that would make sense. Would love some Foster and the People.
I don't think they could get Mumford, could they get RHCP? Kings of Leon?
I'm thinking their main hold up is waiting on the headliners to be ready to announce their tour dates assuming they're doing this as part of a tour and not a one or two off.
