is there an easy way to check what is and isn't near a shuttle stop? they have a "map" which is pretty worthless for this purpose.
Their map is totally worthless. I looked up the actual locations of most of the shuttle stops previously, but it may have been on my old computer... I will look at my computer tonight and see if it's there.
Damn girl that room is pricey! So glad I'm camping.
Gonna stink up the airplane on the way back. Is there showers or anything in the campgrounds?
Split 2 (or 4) ways is really not bad. I have hoteled and camped at Coachella and I much prefer the hotel route. My neighbors were a bit rowdy last year, and the wind kept me awake too. I like sleeping in a bed and having a nice hot shower every morning and night.
Free showers in the campgrounds They also have premium showers for $10, which are cleaned out between every patron, if you don't want to shower next to someone else's hair and trash.

Haha, I guess I should point out that the premium showers are also nicer. They have more room. And mirrors. And power outlets. And air conditioning. So if you're bringing along some ladies, or want some desert fest pampering, this is a nice option.
I have never had luck with tickets for shows that sell out in minutes. That being the case, I'm considering buying a ticket through Stub-hub by the end of the year. As of right now, cheapest 3 day pass is going for $460. I'm just afraid that by waiting, an incredible lineup will be dropped, and the scalpers will increase that $460 starting price. Any thoughts as to price increases once a lineup drops, or am I worrying too much about it?
I don't know what's worse, Longinus - you getting shat on by one of the dumbest posters on the Coach boards (someone who get mocked routinely by everyone else for being just a waste of space) or the fact that people think you're a troll. The fact that you were serious and people think you're trolling is hysterical.
I know and that made me think "maybe I should start trolling them now just to really confuse them."
Camping conditions at coachella are like a hotel when comapred to boannaroo, IMO.
That's not what they've been saying on the coachella message boards. Snooty elitists pansy's
They have no idea how good they have it! All camping at coachella is basically as nice as Bonnaroo VIP camping (free showers, marked out spaces, aisles between all lanes).

I'd be taking my gf. She's a champ when it comes to Bonnaroo, but I feel like if she knew what it was like beforehand, she might not have been willing to dive into it. Coachella being unknown territory, and after reading those reviews, I got the impression that hotel would be the only way to get here there, but flights and all were just too expensive. This has me thinking about it once again...

Even arriving at the campgrounds and getting through security is a breeze. Although they did try to take my mallet because they said it could be used as a weapon. So hide that shiz. Also hide your tent stakes.

The Pawn Shop was my official watering hole when I lived in Edmonton! its rare to get a half decent live show in Edmonton period. I liked that place cuz they played a lot of beck and Jon spencer when there were no shows
