Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
I'd love to fly into SD, but I have to pick up my campervan in LA. Maybe I'll work it out so that I fly into SD a day or two early, hang out there, then drive to LA, swap my rental for my campervan, then make moves. How much cheaper are we talking?
Probably not a big enough difference to justify an extra day or two of car rental and hotel expenses. Unless you want to see the sights in SD, of course.

For what it's worth, there's now an option for anyone on the payment plan to pay off your tickets entirely, if you'd rather. Log in to your Frontgate account and there should be a link to "manage your payment plan" or something. Handy for those who didn't have all the cash at the time of the pre-sale, but have it now, and don't want to have money taken out every month from here on out.

What's the general time line for when the Coachella line up starts to leak/comes out? (i.e. about a month before the Bonnaroo lineup came out we know a lot of the major players).
I'm giving serious thought to pulling the American Festival Grand Slam next year, but given how much it costs to get out to California, it really has to be worth it.

What do you consider the grand slam to be?
Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza? Or others also?

If I were being honest I'd say those 3 + ACL and maybe Outside Lands, but since there's no way I could ever do all 5 in under a year, it's just the three.

I assumed that grand slam indicates the 4 bigguns: Coachella, ACL, Roo, and Lolla.
I plan on doing two of those next year: Coachella and Roo. Gonna do Hangout, DeLuna, and Voodoo every year because I'm in their backyard and it's far less likely for them to have the same headliners due to proximity clauses.

Ah, hadn't heard...haven't been lurkin' Coachella boards though. Relevant: I was working with a colleague of mine today on our FTIR sampling system and after we found a leak in one of the sampling lines and got everything back running, he needed something but forgot what it was so and he said this in a normal voice: "what I need is ... a good defense because I'm feeling like a criminal" and I just shook my head.

And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.

This. Just need to figure out accomodations. I'm sort of digging the camper van idea, but my silver spooned travel partner wants a hotel... even if it's $400+/night and not convenient.
Ugh. Anyone have a great hotel recommendation I may have overlooked?
