Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
You know he has friends in high places. You're gonna get that warning level kicked up to 20% if ye ain't careful!
Fvck it, him, and the board I am out of this mess. This used to be decent place to talk about music and Bonnaroo, before people decided that bullies are ok as long as they are occasionally funny. This goes for Nodepression and his piddly ass elitist bullshiz that he somehow thinks makes him the arbiter of good taste, as well as for Juggs and the fact that he pounces on anything to bitch about because he is bored and can't get a job.
You guys have a good Bonnaroo, I really hope you do.
At least all of these guys were able to leave civilly and without circumventing the filters. I hope you are right and all of these people come back. I did not think the same about you

I totally get the "Quitters". It's not that they're being "pandas", it's that they no longer think this board is a fun place to hang out. I used to lurk, but decided to make a profile because there seemed to be a lot of good, interesting discussion on here. A large amount of the people who offered the best discussion are now gone (not all, by any means, but quite a few), so if I decide over the next few hours/days that this place is no longer a good place for quality musical discussion, then I will likely delete my account as well, and only occasionally stalk for information. I don't need to post here to gather information about Bonnaroo, my account only exists for discussion.

The last thing I'll say on this is that a lot of the posters who were around when I first joined are no longer here and haven't been for years. People come and go, it's life. At the end of the day I'll continue posting here because I love Bonnaroo and have nothing better to do than argue about music with people I don't know. No one person is going to change whether or not I post, and honestly a lot of people seem to be taking things a bit more serious than necessary and are acting entitled at the same time. If you don't want to post here that's fine, but making a spectacle of yourself cheapens your efforts to make a point.

This is an important point. By certain people quitting the board, inforoo is not going to fold into itself. This will not affect change, it will only empower those that the quitters viewed as tyrants. The board will go on, even if it becomes a watered down version of its former self. The quitters will miss the board more than the board will miss the quitters, as the quitters obviously made visits to this board an important part of their daily routine. Perhaps others will step up and fill the roles previously held by quitters, only time will tell. At the end of the day, it will still only be an internet message board loosely based on an annual music festival...a.k.a. not actually important.

This kind of goes both ways. People who find it important to ban people and people who find it somehow important to leave.

of all people to leave the boards in spite, i never imagined this would be the list of people.
What I'm saying is is that you can disagree all day with them leaving. Doesn't matter to me. There isn't a need to call people p*ssies though. It just further sustains a bunch of the animosity which causing the problems the board is having right now.

Phi are you saying no you're not better than that?
I wouldn't have imagined that list of people either. This is a pretty shiz way to end a pretty shiz day at work. Restricting speech in any form is dangerous. I said it in another thread and I'll say it here; restricting speech is in effect an attempt at restricting thought. I can't think of anything more contrary to the "idea" of why we are all here.
