Yay for more lineup additions who I've never heard of! This makes ZERO CONFLICTS for me, since not 1 band interests me enough to buy a ticket. ;D
WTF happened between this year & last? Last year's lineup had soooooo many amazing acts that I knew & loved w/no need to research. This year? Headliners I've already seen and the rest I've never heard of. Sad panda.
Don't be sad panda - discovery is the most interesting part of life
Also there will be copious amounts good booze, dance music, and people playing with synthesizers. All of it is a conflict for me

This. Very sad indeed. I'm not sure where they went wrong this year, but at least it makes some people happy.

Oh Holls How is doing a little bit of research on artists you've never heard of a bad thing? I take this as an opportunity to learn about great artists from people who know their music! There have been a bunch of people I've never heard of, and I'm BLOWN AWAY by their talent. Take the time, check out these artists... this line-up is WAY ahead of its time.

godquackingdamnit moog gets death grips too? I am setting Voodoo fest on fire this year. The funny part to me is that the cost of the two shiztiest things that were booked for Voodoo, Green Day and Skrillex, could have probably paid for the entire moogfest lineup. Sad times we live in.

I was just going through a bag of old cassettes and found a promo-release of Harold Budd collaborating with XTC's Andy Partridge called "Through the Hill." Can't wait for Moogfest

TRUST ME: I keep a finger firmly on the pulse of new/emerging artists. I'm not opposed to discovering new groups at all! No, I meant that I'm minimizing the disappointment of skipping Moog if I don't realize what I'm missing. It's ignorance by choice.
Besides, I've seen the headliners and upper-tier lineup artists one (or more) times already; the undercard artists I don't know now will come 'round again later...it's all good.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Double Posting. It looks like this might replace the pumpkin contest?
Moogfest Trick or treat Theremin aficionados, it’s time for the Moog Halloween Theremin Video Contest!
It’s almost Halloween again, time to drink witches brew with creatures of the night and let the unearthly sounds of the Theremin float through the ether. In celebration of the holiday we want you to produce your best Halloween themed Theremin video.

Believe me, I'm all about trolling on some Daft Punk, even if it means giving false credit to a legit worse band or act to rile up people (most know I can't stand Daft Punk, around here, so I'll spare the rest of you)... but this, like, wasn't even remotely clever, funny, or anything at all. I fail to see its purpose. Nothing against Bonzai for posting it, I just am befuddled by the thing even existing.

I wasn't thrilled with Moog's first lineup either. It seemed like the fest was missing the fun artists. After the last couple lineup additions, I'm back to super psyched. I hope you are able to make it afterall, Hollie. Moog won't be the same w/o you
