Nice. It's amazing how someone can go from being unknown to being one of the top five or so acts you want to see. Just hopefully its not on Thurs, or I will have to go a day early.

That's the beauty of a lineup announcement. One of my favorite things is finding new artists to fall in love with.

Ya for sure. Just its crazy every time when you go and look for these types of people and they still slip by. Super pumped for the roo this year.

Someone help me out.
I swear there was a song by this guy awhile back (year or two, maybe more), that I really enjoyed. It was a very chill style, most of his stuff I found then were. Now all I can find of his since I've started looking him up after being on the lineup is more your standard dubstep-ish stuff.
Did his style change? Am I thinking of a different artist? Am I just looking up the wrong songs? Is his style/stuff just that all over the place? halp.

His discography is on Spotify. Some of his stuff is dubstep, but definitely not all. I'd check out these releases if you can, via Spotify or some other way.
Silver Lining Flux For Life Hostilis
Hostilis probably has the least "wub wub wub" on it of those three. Sorry, I had mentioned Flux For Life the first time, def alot less dubstep on hostilis.

Mim0sa was one of the nice surprises on the lineup for me.
I saw him live a few months back. He played mostly dubstep, but that may be because the event he was booked for was a dubstep monthly. Personally I prefer his chilled out glitch hop-ish stuff This is one of my favorite tracks
He also has a really really impressive lighting and visual display for such a low tier artist. This guy needs a latenight, or at least thur late evening slot
I'm obsessed with these first two songs, no ID on them as far as I know.
Just keeps getting better and better with every listen. Could do without the sirens in some of the songs. Looking at his live stuff it seems way different. I am too pumped for this set. Please don't put it up against someone like sbtrkt. Anyone think he will play thurs?
This dude is sick, I just listened to the Silver Lining and it blew my expectations outta the water. I was kind of just expecting another stereotypical american dubstep guy. I really dug the Instrumental Hip Hop feel to it. Have yet to listen to any of his other releases.

Isn't one of his albums ”Sanctuary”? I have that, and Silver Lining. I didn't even know the other two existed.

I have been listening to Mimosa on spotify and dig his music, but based on this youtube i'm not so sure about his live show. Dude has no respect for the venue hosting him.

Well it is not like that will be an issue at Bonnaroo.
I have seen him live. He used to be more downtempo but has since changed a little. His live shows are much better than the albums which is true for a lot of EDM. Out of the 4 electro shows I have seen over the last year I would rank them in this order.
Skrillex Bassnectar Big Gigantic Mimosa
All are very good in their own right. Skrill and Bassnectar turns into a big party with a lot of boody shaking intensity. Mimosa is a little more chill. Big Gigantic is very enjoyable to not really dance a lot but rather marvel at how impressive they are.

I've seen all four as well in the past year. I would put them in the same order, however I've danced my ass off every time I've seen Big G. Mimosa was more chill than the other three by far. If he is Thursday and barring any conflicts I would definitely check him out again.

literally none of those are "electro"
also, you can definitely get up get down and boogie at a big gigantic show
