After watching youtube clips of bassnectar from last year, which I can't figure out how I missed, skrillex may need the which stage. Could get crazy in a tent.
Pretty much locked for latenight: Skrillex Flying Lotus SBTRKT Major Lazer The Word
Should probably get latenight, but might get screwed out of one: Alice Cooper Umphrey's McGee Battles Mogwai
Could go either way: all hip hop acts - The Roots, Black Star, Ludacris, Mac Miller, Yelawolf, Childish Gambino, Danny Brown, Das Racist, Kendrick Lamar
Could be latenight or thursday closer: Big Gigantic MiMosa Little Dragon Big Freedia
Probably daytime but could still possibly get latenight: Black Lips Bad Brains Flogging Molly Little Dragon Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk Superjam lots of others.....
I think Foster the People are a sleeper candidate for a LN Which. Their album is electronic enough to qualify them and they have a halfway decent light show live from the YouTube clips I've seen. Same with Dispatch. I would add both to "could go either way."
I'm gonna go with this:
Friday Which: Skrillex This: SBTRKT>Flying Lotus That: Big Gigantic>Umphrey's McGee The Other: The Word>The Roots
Saturday: Which: Foster the People or Dispatch This: Battles>Major Lazer That: Flogging Molly>Alice Cooper The Other: Childish Gambino>Black Star

The last time Dumpstaphunk played on the farm it was late night, I think, and they'd fill the Dr. John funk spot from last year. Albeit, they are nowhere near as big or as well known.

2012: RHCP, Phish, Beach Boys, Aziz, The Roots, Alice Cooper, Superjam, Blackstar, The Word, Luda, Flogging Molly, Spectrum Road, Umphrey's, Black Lips, Gary Clark Jr., Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Trampled By Turtles

Dispatch plays arenas...they will not be in a tent at Bonnaroo.

Ok, well then I could see them as pre-headliners then right before Phish on the What.
according to the Band-by-day thread, SBTRKT is already confirmed for Saturday.
and I don't think it's going to be SBTRKT -> FlyLo. makes too much sense.
I think it's more likely going to be a hip hop act like The Roots or Black star into FlyLo, and then SBTRKT into a band like Umphrey's, Battles, or Mogwai.

Alice Cooper, Bad Brains, Black Star, Skrillex, Mac Miller (unfortunately) I could see Bad Brains leading into Alice Cooper. That would be pretty awesome. Das racist I think will be Thursday nights last act in a tent.

Thursday Tent closers: Little Dragon vs. MiMosa vs. Das Racist then Big Gigantic in the 1am-2am slot (Dam-Funk 2011)
Friday: Which: Skrillex This: Big Freedia -> Black Star -> Flying Lotus That: Battles -> Major Lazer Other: Ludacris -> The Word
Saturday Which: Dispatch This: Bad Brains -> Alice Cooper That: SBTRKT -> Umphrey's McGee Other: Childish Gambino -> Mogwai
I think a lot of that seems pretty accurate, minus two things things: - Don't think Cooper will be in a tent : either LN Which or evening Which. From what I've heard, some crazy theatrics are always involved and are a big part of the show, and tents would be too small for that and not everyone would have a good view. - I could see a different rapper in your Gambino slot. I think he could pull off a daytime show well, so a different rapper (I'm thinking Danny Brown) may be there?
2012 shows: 3/23 - The Men 4/9 - Of Monsters & Men 4/21 - Bassnectar 5/2 - Shpongle 5/22 - Jack White 6/1 - tUnE-yArDs 6/7-6/10 - Bonnaroo 2012 6/18 - Destroyer 6/20 - The Tallest Man On Earth 6/23-6/24 - Governor's Ball

yeah Alice Cooper is probably more likely for a Buffalo Springfield slot on Which.

My attempt to tip the scales...
Friday: Which: Skrillex This: Dumpstaphunk > The Word (Word confirmed for Friday, and with all this craziness at the other stages, normal people need a place to go.) That: Big Freedia > Major Lazer (makes too much sense. Like Souleyman > Gogol Bordello) The Other: Danny Brown > Yelawolf > Mac Miller (rap tent's really hard to pin down this year)
Saturday:
Which: Alice Cooper (Unless the additions change something) This: Umphreys McGee (either a looong set or with Big Gigantic opening) That: SBTRKT > Flying Lotus The Other: Mogwai > Battles
I can't think of a time where there's been a hip-hop tent on both Friday and Saturday night. That tent could just as easily be Kendrick Lamar> BlackStar> Ludacris as anything. Also I think a rap act> Flying Lotus is possible. If that happened, I'd probably put Battles> SBTRKT and move Mogwai to day time. That said, I really don't want to see Black Star/SBTRKT/Flying Lotus conflict. You can tell from my mock.

Major Lazer won't play first. They will close out a tent with craziness. You don't follow a 10 on the crazy scale with a 7 on the crazy scale. Just a guess though... Roots could be the other late night which but they're one of the few rap acts that can comfortably hold down a big show during the day. So...I have no idea what's going to happen.

I don't understand why so many of ya'll are putting Skrillex on which. If Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Shrpongletron Experience, Deadmau5, Girl Talk, Tiesto, Oakenfold, etc. all played in tents with their giant light shows, what makes you think Skrillex won't too. I see him Friday in This at 12:00 or 2:00.

Well, I guess the reasoning is that EDM has gotten bigger and his stage show is huge. Definitely bigger than Deadmau5's stage was in 2010. Pretty Lights and Bassnectar last year just barely squeezed into the tents, and the crowd at Bassnectar especially was well past the tent space.
On top of the popularity of EDM, Skrillex just won three grammies and is currently hugely popular with ages 18-24. I'm not going to say for certain that Skrillex couldn't be in a tent, but it seems unlikely. Especially with his high placement on the line-up.
