Well....Primus just released their Spring/Summer Tour dates for 2012....the only free dates they have during Bonnaroo are 6/9 and 6/10...but they play in California in 6/8 and Oregon 6/11, so I doubt they would travel halfway across the country for one show...but you never know!!! One can hope can't they!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'm still hoping for The Dandy Warhols... They're releasing an album called "This Machine" on April 24th, will be touring the UK in April... and they mentioned coming to North America shortly thereafter... and I do think their presence needs to be graced upon Bonnaroo...
I'd be front row rail for their set for sure if they were to be added. I'd wait as long as I'd have to..

Sorry in advance if this has already been discussed here, but what about State Radio as a late addition since Dispatch is playing? It appears they come back from Europe on May 29.
AC Entertainment via THE FORECASTLE FESTIVAL Bonobo, one of the hottest names in electronic music, is joining THE FORECASTLE FESTIVAL's Saturday lineup! Expect a body-rocking DJ set loaded with hip hop, funk and dub. More artist additions and plenty of fun still to be announced!
Ashley Capps just announced Bonobo as an addition to Forecastle. Think we'll get him?

That's awesome and I hope we get him. I think calling him one of the "hottest names in electronic music" is stretching it a little, though.
Since I don't feel like reading through 33 pages of this, any word on Santogold as an add? She's doing fests but so far none that I'm attending which is a total bummer. I would LOVE to see her get added to the lineup!
Heard a very bizarre rumor today, I don't know how much I'd believe it, but I've heard that The Cult has been booked for Lollapalooza and a couple other small fests this year. Think there's a chance we could see them as an add? It would fufill the lack of straight up rock thats currently missing.

Wishlist:
1 of these 3: Yonder Mountain String Band Greensky Bluegrass Infamous Stringdusters ------------------------ Galactic ------------------------ Deer Tick (also maybe Middle Brother) ------------------------ Futurebirds ------------------------ Dark Star Orchestra (since we didn't get Furthur) ------------------------ NEIL YOUNG AND CRAZY HORSE (I know...not happening) --------------------------- Sound Tribe or Disco Biscuits
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
Bonobo Yuck (awesome band still hasnt done roo but is doing Coachella) Miike Snow (new album coming out) Galactic Vampire Weekend (new album coming out) Seriously though still no Dead Members on the farm...
They have a gap in dates from 6/8 Oklahoma City until 6/13 Indianapolis. It's the only gap like that in their tour. It'd make for a pretty convenient Sunday set at the farm.
Also, they have a 40+ date tour planned and no Memphis or Nashville dates...hmmmmm...

Wait, what? I didn't know about this. By the way, what is their popularity barometer these days? Say they were added. Are they big enough to close the Which Stage on a Sunday? I know The Shins are doing that, but I just mean hypothetically.

Yes, I would think Which closer. I even think even possibly a Preheadliner. But most would probably disagree on the preheadliner.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

NO WAY! I love VW as much as the next person, but one good release in 2008 with a CRAP follow up album in 2009 doesnt warrant either of the above. Theyre still a tent act and always will be a tent act in my opinion. The last thing we need is another over rated hipster one hit wonder band being billed waaaayyy too high!!! **cough**cough**FTP*****
Who's bigger Vampire Weekend or FTP? I would think Vampire Weekend. The are top billed at Pitchfork. That would put them on the same level as Fleet Foxes. Are Fleet Foxes not a Which closer or Preheadliner at this point?

in ten years no one's even gonna know who vampire weekend or foster the people are. except the people who slap their face for seeing them over someone relevant at a festival. anywhoo,
any speculation on florence + the machine being added? they should be. and they should be on a stage. also, roky erickson? (the father of psychedelic music). that is all.
