4 days of Skrillex and one of Phish I don't know but I have a strong opinion of who will ruin Roo this year. I actually am going to listen to some of his stuff now sinc eI have remained blissfully ignorant until now. Get the Ouija board out to commune with me from the other side of the kool-aid sip I am about to take. Seriously i live in BFE Kentucky and there are real actual rednecks at work tha thave been asking me since they have seen me on with 7 years worth of Bonnaroo shirts if he will play there this year. But I am going to take the dive and see what the hate is all about and the love. Toodles!

lots of acts will list all 4 days. that usually means that they will be in attendance on the farm for all 4 days, that they don't know which day they'll play, or that they are choosing not to say which day. Umphreys and FlyLo have all 4 days listed as well i think.
You really think that sonny Moore can really make it to bonnaroos which stage?! No way. Bassnectar didn't, so niether will he. He'll end up a LN at this or that and or somebody else will have Which or something.
Skrillex is bigger than bassnectar. You could argue he's not bigger than Deadmau5 or Tiesto, who both played tents, but electronic music in general has blown up in the past 2 years. I think any of those acts could play the which stage at this point now.

You guys (and by you guys I really just mean that samuelsykola kid) , Skrillex is #9 on the lineup. I'm the last person to want to admit this, but he's almost garunteed to play Which.

Yeah. And if you dislike Skrillex, you should want him at the Which, anyway. He'll get a ton of the attention while we rage at a tent show that we all want to see. I never get why people flip out if a certain performer is on the bill. Unless they're a headliner, you're guaranteed to have other stuff to check out. I pray Skrillex clashes with SBTRKT. Keep those adolescent airheads (and Phi) at the Which will I party my ass off in a tent somewhere.

Meh listened not to big on him after a few songs. Going to check out some of his live shows but to bleepy for me it ruins whatever he is trying to do. Maybe I am getting old but I thought I had good tastes in music the challenge is finding out where this "Skrillex" is coming from. If anyone can decipher it is me. Meantime I to wonder what good bands will he free up to get in close for because people went to hear a "DJ". Going to listen to his live shows now I will be fair but with the shiz I have seen he has a very high bar to live up to. I just dont get crazy because I see Dj and think "RAVE OONTZ OONTZ" I want some merit. Therin is my problem I do not get it at all.

Okay watched his live stuff on youtube when there are people just standing around nodding their heads at a show at Ibiza instead of dry humping n the dance floor that means the world needs no more Skrillex! A lot of dry humping (or wet at those foam parties) goes on there and it just was not happening.

I don't quite understand all the hate for Skrillex suddenly around here. I guess the masses always needs to find some big act to throw hatred at every year.
So heres something. On Skrillex's website (yes that's right I went into the belly of the beast) it lists all four days of Bonnaroo. Now, I know artists will typically either list thursday or the day they are playing. Has anyone ever listed all four days of the festival on their tour dates? Could Skrillex do some kind of DJing in between What Stage acts or something? They used to do that, right?
Yea I remember some acts listing all four days. I'm sure he could do some kind of DJing besides his main stage thing but I don't think that's the reason for listing all four dates. Maybe they're still finalizing scheduling.
had to do a random search this was going on in some other thread

Yes, it could be that "the masses" are driven by a primordial need to HATE. Or, it could be that Skrillex makes terrible brostep which is basically a bastardized, dumbed down and more aggressive form of dubstep which in turn has found widespread appeal with the meathead set. Not all hate is unfounded - Skrillex is terrible, his fanbase is composed of loads of ignorant teens in dayglo bodypaint and date-rapey college bros, and I hope he loses a ton of money gambling on college basketball and has his thumbs broken by his bookie.
Usually I'm the last one to say "so and so act will ruin Bonnaroo because their fan base is so incredibly summers breezey," but I'm close to that point with Skrillex. The only saving grace is that hopefully all the wobblewobblewobblewaitforthedropherecomesthedropsickbassdropbroWHOMPWHOMPWHOMP will clear out plenty of space at the good acts on the night in question.

To be fair - I despise Tiesto as well
I don't think my brand of haterade has changed that much over the years
