This is looking much better. I don't know how likely having both BlackStar and Ludacris on the main stage would be, but props. I look forward to watching these evolve as we get closer to the time line.
I also think Red Hot Chili Peppers get a 2 hour slot, for what it's worth.
Do you think Charles Bradley > Gary Clark Jr would be likely? Soul into heavy blues seems like it would work really well. Plus I just want it for my personal tastes, but it seems possible!
I ate my own words last year. Enjoyed Childish Gambino and J. Cole. Didn't go to Eminem but watched it on a tv in the media area. Not a bad show at all despite the fact it was clear he was lip-syncing at times. I just can't stand that. Didn't go to Jay-Z the year before but sounded pretty good from my campsite. Saw the Roots in 2007 but I don't look at them as traditional rap. Not a lot of rap acts I would go out of my way to check out this year other than the Roots and Black Star. Maybe Childish Gambino again, and maybe Kendrick Lamar. Rap is still usually my last resort though.
I've never been a big fan of rap or electronica, not to mention the late night scene. I don't get all crazy and "stuff" anymore if you know what I mean. Last time I even saw the sun rise at Bonnaroo was in 2005 and I've been back 4 times as you can see. I usually hit the sack around 3 or 4. I guess technically I saw the sun rise on Monday morning last year but that was only because I woke up early to go back home.

I like natedogg's schedule, with few exceptions. Friday late night sucks to me - there isn't anyone I really want to see. Swap the BlackStar/Gambino tent for the Freedia/Major Lazer tent and I'd be set. Blackstar/Gambino Friday, SBTRKT/Flying Lotus Saturday. Other than that, Friday lines up great (Kendrick Lamar > Luda > FtP > Bon Iver > Radiohead), and Saturday is perfect aside from the Roots/Battles conflict, which would kill me. I think it'd be more likely that you see the Roots and that hypothetical Jack White set going on at the same time a la the Beasties/ David Byrne in 2009, but who knows.
Might not be the right thread but wanted to talk about the first fake lineup poster that was released this year - not the one with the drawing from last year with the "arms."
On that first poster, can't remember who made it, they had 41 acts right, granted 39 were wrong. Still a pretty good guess in my book.
Of the other bands on that poster (posted below), who do you think is likely to be there this year?
Paul Simon Jack White Drake Eddie Vedder Weir, Robinson & Greene Ziggy Marley Herbie Hancock Cage the Elephant Yonder Santigold Amon Tobin Silversun Pickups Tedeschi Trucks Randy Newman Gillian Welch Dethklok Yeasayer M. Ward Ray Manzarek & Roy Rogers Baroness Frank Ocean John Reilly & Friends Mark Lanegan Band Mute Math Chali 2na Keller Seun Kuti Akron/Family Givers Infamous Strindusters Diamond Rugs Rubblebucket Silent Comedy Papadosio Animals as Leaders Zach Deputy Tribal Seeds Lord Huron Lumineers
If all or most of those were added I think it would flesh out the lineup quite well. Most notably, we're missing metal this year. Only a few more adds on this list but enough I think as far as tent acts go.
it's actually not that hard to do. i've done it. you just have to keep up with bands being confirmed or denied, look at who is playing other fests. i think out of that list these may be adds. some of the others might be cafe acts.

I took away an Aziz Ansari comedy set on the What Stage. Moved Alice Cooper from Saturday late night to Friday late night, and moved Umphrey's from Friday to Saturday. Placed the Roots on the What Stage on Sunday, and leaving the Beach Boys on the What Stage and giving them a 2 hour set.
