Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I rarely am on the board when I can actually watch the videos posted/ youtube bands mentioned, but I am the only one in the office this AM, so I am jumping around from thread to thread...
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Man I saw them in Chicago and wasn't super impressed but I will give them a more honest listen (thoroughly till Roo) hopeful my tune will change, and I can be stoked about them as well. I bought "D" as you suggested and we shall see(any other album suggestions?).. IMO "The Dear Hunter" owned the whole show by far surpassing Manchester Orchestra and White Denim.
It's one of the few bands that has caught my attention in the past few years. It's nothing new. A little psychedelic, a little blues and a lot of punk.

How long ago was this?
My west cost friends were texting me every night of the Wilco run saying this may be the best band ever as an opener for them.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

this is the first band i've fallen in love with post-lineup announcement. i'm smitten with these guys. i can see this being a very fun show. maybe an early saturday or sunday tent? that'd do me just fine.

Yep... this is far and away my favorite of the "post line up research phase" bands. I immediately bought D and Last Day of Summer. I can't decide which one I like more, but they're both in heavy rotation right now.
I think you could argue that "takes place in your work space" ep is better than D. Obviously D is a full album and has many great songs, but the ep is four songs all of which are amazing

I saw White Denim last night, absolutely incredible. Their man-boy bassist brought the heat and the drummer was absolutely tenacious. I know they gained a good deal of popularity from D, but I really hope Bonnaroo can give them a platform to expand even further. They're gonna own the farm, it feels like destiny
Saw White Denim last night in @ Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ. Whoa. I went in with pretty high expectations and they absolutely blew them away. One of the best shows I've seen in my life (and I've seen quite a few.)
