if the real line up is anything like this, I think I'll be passing on this year. There's maybe like only 5 people I'd even think about seeing. Sad.
Only five? That sucks. Lot of great stuff on here, a lot of bands I haven't seen.
Here's what I'd see:
1. Radiohead (I haven't seen them) 2. Phish (only seen them 3 times but been a fan for a long time - and they get 2 shows again!) 3. Paul Simon, doing Graceland nonetheless 4. Jack White - if you didn't know, this ain't gonna be solo. He'll have a backing band accompanying him on these shows this year. Forgot where I saw that mentioned. 5. Eddie Vedder (never seen Pearl Jam but always thought Vedder was better on his own) 6. Bon Iver (saw 'em at roo 09 but I already know this will be my favorite show of the weekend) 7. Avett Bros (saw 'em at roo 10) 8. Shins (not exactly the Shins, only remaining members is James Mercer, saw original lineup at ACL 06, loving the new song) 9. Ben Folds Five (never seen them or Ben Folds solo) 10. Roots (not a huge fan but pretty much the only rap act I like) 11. Weir, Robinson & Greene acoustically - are you kidding me? this is a superjam in itself 12. Umphrey's - gonna rule late night. I still think they could do a late night on the which stage 13. The Word - another superjam, never seen them 14. Mogwai (never seen them) 15. Yonder (seen them once) 16. Amon Tobin (don't really know nothing about him other than he played early years of bonnaroo 17. Tedeschi Trucks - kind of like another superjam 18. Randy Newman - never had the chance to see him probably never will again 19. Fitz - been wanting to see them for awhile now 20. Gillian (never seen her on her own) 21. Yeasayer (never seen them) 22. M. Ward (never seen him on his own) 23. Ray Manzarek with Roy Rogers - again, another superjam. Ray is a living legend and the Doors were one of my favorite classic rock bands 24. Joy Formidable - saw them last September at a small festival in Cincinnati called MidPoint with maybe 1,000 people. Gonna be much bigger and better at roo. 25. John C. Reilly and Friends - sometimes actors try to make music and it doesn't work but not the case here 26. Antlers (never seen them) 27. tune yards (never seen them) 28. Civil Wars (saw John Paul White at roo years ago in one of the cafe's) 29. Black Lips (never seen) 30. Battles (never seen) 31. Mark Lanegan (another legend in my mind) 32. Mutemath (never seen) 33. Punch Bros (saw at roo 10) 34. Gary Clark Jr (wanted to see but missed at roo last year) 35. Dawes (haven't seen them since 2010) 36. Keller (haven't seen since 2007) 37. Alabama Shakes (never seen) 38. War on Drugz (never seen) 39. Kooks (never seen) 40. Seun Kuti (never seen) 41. White Denim (never seen) 42. Akron/Family (never seen) 43. Givers (never seen) 44. Kurt Vile (never seen) 45. EMA (never seen) 46. Fruit Bats (never seen) 47. Infamous Stringduster (never seen) 48. Trample by Turtles (never seen) 49. Diamond Rugs (never seen, love Deer Tick)
I'm undecided...I think it is very close to the actual line up but there aren't any major suprises...at all. The undercard here isn't all that weak if you just check out the bands. like Fitz and the Tantrums, GCJ, Dawes, etc.(you get what im saying). However this looks shockingly similar to the first page of the Artist Direct Confirmation thread. Either we did one heck of a job this year, or its fake. I still feel like no matter how good we do Bonnaroo always has suprises. I am not complaining with this line up, but I expected to have a few bands that make you say "Wow I really didn't see that one coming!"
Welcome back Natedogg......stick around this time.
And you really think this is real?
I do. No doubt in my mind it's real.
There's actually a pretty good amount of suprise/wow factors imo
1. Paul Simon 2. Jack White (not as much now since he was announced for Hangout) 3. Vedder solo 4. Ben Folds Five 5. Weir, Robinson & Greene (not a surprise but certainly has that wow factor) 6. Randy Newman 7. Ray Manzarek with Roy Rogers 8. John C. Reilly (more a surprise than a wow) 9. Mark Lanegan Band
Wouldn't really say anyone else is a surprise or has that wow factor since a lot were rumored and/or had already confirmed or been confirmed
I think the strange bolding of Fitz & the Tantrums definitely puts some more question behind an already phishy (see what I did there?) mock up. Michael Fitzpatrick doesn't really identify as Fitz and, barring an actual mistake by a real lineup poster which do occur, I believe this might be the telling mistake behind this most likely fake poster.

not sure what you mean about michael fitzpatrick not identifying himself as fitz. i've always heard he has done that and that's where the band name comes from. not sure if thats what you meant.
and as for the bold text, i don't think it would look good or really work if most every band except the first few were unbolded.
lol how is this thread 5 pages and people are still posting in it saying the lineup is real? THE OP MADE THE DAMN POSTER YOU NINNIES!
He comes back on laughing at the sites who linked his fake, and people on here, who see this same shitt every year, say "there's no doubt in my mind- it's the real deal." Unfuckingbelievable. Good trolling.
