We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Would it be possible for the inaugural QSAROO winners to lead the Happy Dances? Like how the reigning Miss America passes her crown to the newly chosen one, the first QSAROO winners (Happy Dancers? ) could introduce the new winners?
Last year's winners will all be at Brunch, so this could totally work!

I randomly ended up with a connection with the sales manager for the distributor handling all of the liquor and wine for Wanee. They have 8 tickets and 2 RVs, free food and drinks, and other perks.
Well, he gave 4 tickets to his brother, and he is taking a friend of mine as his date.
That leaves 2 tickets. He has been trying to get rid of them (give them away) for quite a while now, but nobody really wants them for some odd reason (probably the circles he runs in - he has a high profile job in Jax and probably is around a lot of wealthy people who think they are too good for Wanee? or he just really hasn't put a lot into finding homes for the tickets)
At any rate, I brought up giving the tickets to someone who wants to go, but can no afford to go, and he likes the idea.
Full disclosure: it is not 100% that I will be able to facilitate the exchange because of timing and whatnot and he is going over there on Friday afternoon
But.... If anyone wants to go to Wanee and couldn't because of money - here is a shot. Please PM me and I will talk details with you.
I want these to go to a good home and make someone happy!!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

We are Back. ;D Hello to all. It has been awhile. Hope we are all ready for the Holidays and New Year! We have some events coming down the pipe and excited to get things up and running again. Keep an eye out. ;D
Other news: Last month QSAROO gifted its first festival tickets outside Bonnaroo. We did a gift for Bear Creek and Inforoo's very own Popsicle Sarah was the recipient of that gift. Congrats to her! ;D
Then last week, we gave our first gift outside of festivals and into the community. A work weight loss challenge was won and those winnings were gifted to a coworker. His name is Clint and was chosen because of a special moment from many, many moons ago. He was a small inspiration for the QSAROO. His wife was sick and then was with hospice. She passed away and he was back at work that Monday. Seeing that was very touching. "If he is working this soon after his loss, then times must be tough", was my thought. Clint works in the kitchen at WMCH. He delivers the food trays and washes dishes. According to upper management he is an amazing person, he shows up everyday on time, does a great job and never complains, but we all know washing dishes does not pay well. At QSAROO, we want to help people and this is who we want to reach out to and touch and make their life a wee bit easier. After being a part of his story, we made him part of ours. Shortly after this first encounter with Clint, we launched out first Scholarship and here we are today. ;D Our gift was not a lot of money, but from his reaction, it meant the world. I lost it when I heard him say to himself, "Thank you lord, you answered. Thank You!" I truly believe we gave him a Christmas.
