Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I really hope Grimes makes it to Bonnaroo! She'd be an excellent Thursday night set, and would fit pretty well in the same tent as EMA. I don't know if her playing Primavera the weekend before helps or hurts the cause though.
Doubtful, as she'll be at Primavera, but hope springs eternal!
So will the War on Drugs and The Black Lips... both of whom we seem to consider locked for Bonnaroo this year.

How about SBTRKT? I know it's unlikely given that his tour ends in Europe the week before Roo, but has anyone tried contacting him? It's really just wishful thinking.
The Swell Season are out but have a very friendly agent:
This is an example of the kind of personalized email I've gotten back from a lot of agents. It's ones like these that make me think most of the denials I'm hearing are accurate. That being said, some are just a simple no or without any elaboration, so it's possible a few names I've listed as denied will show up on the poster. But for the most part I feel confident in virtually all of the confirm/denies I'm listing for you guys. I feel like an agent is more likely to just ifnore my email than respond with a false no. Again, I appreciate the thanks I've gotten for doing this.
Does that make you feel bad at all for lying to these agents? I'm not trying to be unthankful for all of the work you've done (you even have Friday from me), but just wondering.

I did on fbook/twitter (one or the other, perhaps both) and nothing.
The Hold Steady: "Hi Nolan..they are playing Xpo-Nential fest in Camden, NJ Jul 20-22..tix aren’t on sale yet.."
Smart answer. i bet Craig Finn plays solo...
I asked in that email about Craig solo. The person didn't address that. They also didn't really address the fests I asked about either though.

At first when some of the people responded back so nicely I did a tiny bit, but it's not as if I'm doing anything malicious so I don't feel bad about it. If I was caught and called out on a lie I might, but so far I don't care. Now I don't have any qualms about it at all. I do make sure to thank the agents who respond nicely and give me info beyond just a simple no.

Contacted on multiple occasions. Received no answer.
That was me on accident. I realized I hadn't given you a Friday for all your work, so went to give you one but somehow spaced out and gave you a Monday. I tried to give you a Friday right away to fix that, but it told me I have to wait an hour. I'll Friday you soon, dude!
I take that fuck you back and give it to the person who monday'd me for bitching about it.
Anyways, doesn't look like we'll get too many more confirmations with the release date coming up. Sasquatch will help us know some things, though.
Plan on creating another email account tomorrow and sending out mass emails to bands that never emailed me back or gave me vague answers.
Megafaun: "They will not be at Bonnaroo this year unfortunately, but are touring the entire US in Mar/April, so catch them when they pass through your area!"
How are Big Gigantic confirmed or am I missing something?
I think Avett's would be a safe bet to put in confirmed. Thechad got an answer about playing 2 unannounced fests in June and then the reply I got makes them all but officially confirmed.
got a reply back from mountain goats saying, "hi thanks for writing, ill be out of the office till feb 16" weird reply... and its not even an automated message cause i wrote to him on thursday.
2012 shows: 3/23 - The Men 4/9 - Of Monsters & Men 4/21 - Bassnectar 5/2 - Shpongle 5/22 - Jack White 6/1 - tUnE-yArDs 6/7-6/10 - Bonnaroo 2012 6/18 - Destroyer 6/20 - The Tallest Man On Earth 6/23-6/24 - Governor's Ball
Damn really hoped I was gonna be able to catch them. That really sucks.
Same I was really hoping that since they canceled their US tour last year and are playing a few shows this spring that they'd possibly be at another US festival. Guess not, as of right now anyway.
