I sent out a bunch today. I've actually been doing this for a while now. Everest said they are hoping to be back and not playing on what they called the 'pulled pork stage'. I'll let you know if anyone else responds.
On top of tweeting and emailing talking to bands after shows is a really good way to get confirmations either way. If you get a chance to talk to anyone from a band directly make sure to ask.
They would be so much better in a night spot. I did not dig their daytime set this year, and I have seen them absolutely kick ass in front of about 70 people. John doesn't have enough time to get properly wasted by 3 in the afternoon to put on the type of show he is capable of.
But unfortunately I think you are right, unless this album gets some crazy radio play all of a sudden... then maybe... we can always hope, right?

No Fleet Foxes for sure. On Twitter they said "Last show for awhile". I asked "Will you be doing any festivals this summer?" They responded "No". Disappointing.

I'd like it but I doubt Deer Tick would be there two years in a row.
Why couldn't they be back? There are lots of bands that play back to back years. They also have a great new album and I really don't think they give a sh!t what time or where they play so it's not like they need a surge in popularity to return.

Weird that he never played Roo before.
He man, are you in to Gotye? They started getting airplay here in Calgary and they are apparently from Belgium originally but now are out of Australia. Thoughts on them?

I caught them twice this year; once with Austra. They were awesome, plus "Shapeshifting" is top 3 of my fave albums this year. Guess i should get started on that petition.
