Born and raised in Nashville, and I'm pretty sure I knew what a salt bagel was before the big cities corrupted me. Salt is the stealth champion, definitely better than everything. Everything bagels are salt bagels for people who haven't had salt bagels.
I shall seek the salt bagel tomorrow. I'll report back if I feel you are correct.
Fun Fact: they are also the favorite bagel of 4 out of 5 deer.
Do tell? Leaving them stale ones to eat or are they breaking in for them?
They buy them by the dozen (well, baker's dozen) and then they hang out in the meadow, licking their salty goodness. (Get your minds out of the gutter. They're deer for Pete's sake!) I don't know where they keep their frequent-buyers cards though. Maybe they have a marsupial in tow...
I never have actually had a coffee I liked. Usually I go for donuts or breakfast sandwiches. For drinks, the handful of times I get that, I go hot chocolate.
A question that came up during the Super Bowl: Exactly who is funding these pistachio ads and wouldn't they be better off just pocketing the money rather than paying celebrities to raise pistachio awareness?
I just got a HP Envy 15 laptop today for a great price....really needed a new computer...this one has a kickass fast processor, lots of memory, and great Beats audio...I'm loving listening to music on it...now for the arduous task of getting everything moved over and set up ...
I'm trying to come up with a more official sounding job title for myself. So far I've got Time Out Enforcement Agent, Toddler Death Match Official, Potty Time Sanitation Engineer, and Head Boo Boo Nurse.
How do I not know of this? Is it a regional thing?
I'm surprised that they didn't come up during our great bagel and cream cheese discussion of February '13. Salt bagels were THE bagel of my childhood, buuuutttt... I have never seen them in CT, so I don't have high hopes for Maine. I used to go to NY every other weekend and that is where they are found in abundance around here. @bandeto didn't feel you a salt bagel? Pshhhh! I converted to everything bagels when I stopped going to NY so regularly and had to depend on local places.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I've never seen Russian Circles or BTBAM, and I've enjoyed their music for years, so I'm sure it will be fun
....or else.
If you like the albums, I highly doubt you will not dig the live show. If you honestly don't like both, I owe you a Roo beer.
The show was awesome. BTBAM played for a full hour, so I felt perfectly fine clearing out before Coheed. Russian Circles were great, I need to see them play a full set.
