Why do they make chef's wear white?
If anyone knows any tricks to getting carbon stains out of white, please share. I've tried so many things.
Edit: If I can bother the nurses and pharmacists of this fine board while I'm begging for advice, too. I've got a pretty nasty burn on my forearm. What kind of voodoo do I have to do get this bad boy to heal with minimal scarring? It happened Wednesday and my dumbass fell asleep with it uncovered one night, resulting in the blisters being rubbed off. I've been keeping it clean and covered.
Thanks. I'll pay my co-pay in cookies/brownies/baked things that aren't my arm.

no tips for that, but I always thought it was crazy that nurses used to wear all white too, and in nursing school our uniform had white pants. I used a lot of bleach.

For both examples, it's all about color theory. White makes people feel like things are clean which are both at a premium in hospitals and restaurants. In practice, keeping white white is fucking hard.
Sometimes I really love the internet. Especially when I could only remember a few lines from a song I used to hear at my old job during Halloween. I typed those words into google and it took me right to the song!
Asking a girl on a date is officially the most stressful thing I have ever done.
That may be. I'm clearly in no position to rank the stressful situations you've been in. But in my experience, the odds of her saying "yes" go up considerably if you can avoid trembling, extreme perspiration, and sobbing.
God my office coffee is terrible. I always say I'll give it another chance, but I always end up again disappointed.
Same here. I usually bring a cup from home in the morning and drink tea in the afternoon now. I never thought of myself as being particularly picky about my coffee, but it is just awful.

I'm not sure if I should be embarrassed to admit that I've adjusted to the caffeinated mud that is office coffee, but it's free and nobody wants an uncaffeinated banker, amirite? ????

Nah, I'd be happy if I could adjust to ours. I think they make ours at half strength, though, so I don't think it was even fully caffeinating me when I was trying to drink it.

If you have a source of hot water there at your office give a French Press a go. I am fortunate to have a reliable source of hot water where I work and gave up on the local as soon as I started. I keep a couple different coffee choices around so I can mix it up and switch to half caff post noon.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
