hey anyone who is friends with me on FB...I've deactivated my account for a few days: long story. Either you know my contact information, or know someone who does...or just msg me here.

Gah Kim - I had no idea that being rick rolled publically on FB was such a big deal and would cause you to deactivate your FB account - I'm sorry
(just had to insert some levity here - did you laugh??)
^^ haha Meg! I wish that it were that simple!!! No, basically a case of "diarrhea of the keyboard" gone awry, and some self-imposed penance as a "mea culpa". I promised that I would take a few days off until I figured out how to filter my inappropriate and irreverent thoughts before I commit them to cyberspace.
Such thoughts come all too rapidly and often...and I just have to learn to exercise some self control.

I primarily use facebook just to talk to a few friends and also to post a bunch of funny or interesting articles or videos on my feed. I don't do any games or apps and barely look at other people's profiles except for the first time after they friend me.
I've got nothing to worry about . When someone posts a few dumb/annoying things that show up in my news feed I just block them from showing up in my feed.
I kinda just post what I want - when I want and if it really really bothers someone - then chances are they should not be my friend anyway. Ocassionally I step in some shit but not all that often. I've learned a lot from Inforoo over the years about just walking away from the keyboard.
Well,I'm typically not one to care what others think...but this time, I offended my kids, who seem to hold me up to a higher standard than I am capable of living by. They need to not be so uptight, but I do think that I crossed a line that should not have been crossed with my irreverent humor.... I just need to chill a few days and let tensions settle
Ahhh kids....I'm not sure mine gets offended by anything I post. If she does, she doesn't say anything. But then again, she is not active on FB. She has one and she checks it, reads what other people post but rarely, if ever, comments on anything.
I would never friend accept my mom, grandma, or anyone I'm related to born before 1982. But sometimes I say things on Facebook and one of my brothers friends rats me out.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Big day tomorrow (today) and I can't sleep. Well MAYBE big day today. I've been an intern/temp at my companies corporate office for the past 11 months and a permanent spot just opened up in our HR department. I am a front running candidate (interested parties have put in the recommendation and I've also been approached to see if I'm interested) and TODAY is the day the job is likely posted. At least I hope it's today, I've been waiting TOO LONG.
Game plan is in place. Resume is ready. Bring it on.
I think I want to move to Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Opinions?
EC's kinda bleak and throw-back, Maemae. If you can conceivably swing it, try to slide 30 min south into Dare County. Duck, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk. Now those places are the truth. Maybe the sweetest stretch of Atlantic coast you could possibly live on.
Hardy, helpful locals on the Outer Banks. If I had a job in EC, I'd still live in Dare Co, and just suffer the drive. No traffic; only miles. I really could not live in EC, though. Just me....
Honestly, I just looked up "nicest cities in NC" and EC came up, so I checked it out. haha, I don't mind a throwback town, I kind of come from one, but I'll definitely take into consideration the named cites/counties ^^ that you mentioned. I'm always searching for a new home. I hate staying somewhere too long.
As long as I can find work, and a little apartment, I'm a-okay.
If you are thinking about robbing an Internet Casino in Florida, Ocala Florida to be exact, the cafe my Mom goes to, then you better think twice...Keep your eye on Grandpa in white!, <---click it I love how they trip over each other running out the door.
