At first I thought he was a joke. Now I find myself pulling for Timmy Tebow to make another comeback every week.
I'm not. Tebow benefits from a top 3 pass-rushing duo (Von Miller is absolutely silly, he should get serious DPOY consideration) and a kicker that can probably make a 70 yarder in Denver.
Tebow was 3/16 for 60-70 yards in 3 quarters. Their defense continued to give him short fields that he did nothing with. Then the Bears defense gets tired after playing the entire game and Tebow's offense took advantage of a slower Bears team.
Tebow vs. Brady next week means I will not go to NFL Network or ESPN once in the next 7 days.
As a Jets fan, I need the Broncos to win the division since they hold a tiebreaker over the Jets. Since the Jets have lost to them, I've basically watched them every week, and it is their defense and kicker that's won them most games, not Tebow.
The Jets lost for the same reasons Chicago lost. Defense got tired and a mind-numbingly idiotic mistake (Barber running out of bounds, Sanchez telegraphing his pick-six).
I hate Brady and I think he gets special treatment from the refs and media, but I respect that he's really, really good and pre-Rex he made a habit of routinely crushing the Jets. At least now they get him back about as often as he beats them.

I pull for Tebow because of the large amount of people saying he is no good and has no chance.
Giving him no credit for the wins is pretty lame. Maybe the Bears defense was a little tired, they do have some age on them, but this isn't the defining reason for the Broncos wins every week. Sure the defense has been playing great and the running backs do well in this sort of system by default. But he is winning the games for them when it counts. If it was any other QB making these game winning drives you would be giving him the credit, but because Tebow has a different skill set, his impact is diminished. The guy clearly plays better under pressure and has the ability to make plays the way some QBs seem to do.
Marion Barber must of had money on the Broncos... geez
I don't even want to watch ESPN or NFL Network in the next week, and this is coming from a Pats fan. I'm tired of them circle jerking Brady and the Pats all the time. Ditto Tebow. Celebrity culture, more than showing highlights and giving sports news.

Skip Bayless doesn't believe anything he himself says. He's obviously just there to rile people up, and it works. Not sure why anyone pays any attention to him.
Also, goddammit Cowboys. Really don't want the Giants in the playoffs.

Yeah, If I was GB I wouldn't want to face the Giants again either. You probably won't have to worry about it. They'll lose to somebody. But it would be the coolest thing for the Giants to ruin two perfect seasons.
I hate Skip as well, but a few days ago he did say something pretty funny. He and Stephen A. Smith were talking about the nixed CP3/Lakers/Rockets deal and Stephen A. was going off about how it's deplorable that the league would veto a trade that helped all 3 teams (which it did), and they cut to Skip who just goes "....for once in my life...I don't have anything to add."

Falcons are a potentially dangerous team in the playoffs. Competent QB and one of the best running backs and receivers in the league, and a defense that CAN make plays.

Eh, not really. Eagles are easily the most disappointing team of the year, the Browns just continue to be the Browns. Probably the worst-run franchise in the NFL year in and year out, outside of maybe the Bengals who actually have a lot of good young talent this year plus nice draft picks next year.
At least Trent Richardson should be coming to Cleveland in the draft

I would be talking major smack about my teams dominance in the fantasy league here, but I don't want to get caught in the same foot in mouth scenario Rob Ryan had earlier this year when Dallas got destroyed by Philly.
How or why do so many people hate Tebow? I am bias towards him, because we are Gators, but RDK you listed two things that are wrong with the NFL and one of those were Tebow? What has he done, that makes him wrong for the NFL? Ndamukong Suh? Plaxico Burress? Albert Hansworth? I could list more, but Tebow is not complaining about money, guy works hard everyday in practice, you ask any coach, and his attitude is the attitude a coach dreams for from his players. Can you legitimately name one reason, on thing Tebow has done that makes Tebow wrong for the NFL? because he is the opposite of everything wrong in the NFL.
