We had no idea you could still get in without a ticket. We are going to the show tomorrow
Neither did I. A line started to form outside of ACL about 3 pm. I thought it was just for ticket holders but it was actually for people just looking to get in after the doners don't shot up. I realized that about 5 and got in line and I was about the 70th person i this line. If I had to guess everyone in that line got in.
Incredible show, smaller set list- 17 songs I think. Thom actually said "cut" about 45 seconds into Reckoner and they started over. LOL that's TV for you. Ended with paranoid android, and played all the new stuff.
Set list from last night. Keep in mind they are filming for an hour TV show so shortened it up a bit.
“Bloom” (“The King of Limbs”) “Little By Little” (“The King of Limbs”) “Daily Mail” (Digital release in December 2011) “Myxomatosis” (“Hail to the Thief”) “Morning Mr. Magpie” (“The King of Limbs”) “The Gloaming” (“Hail to the Thief”) “The Amazing Sound of Orgy” (“Pyramid Song” B-side) “Staircase” (Digital release in December 2011) “Reckoner” (“In Rainbows”) “Arpeggi” (“In Rainbows”) “Identikit” (new song from this tour) “Lotus Flower” (“The King of Limbs”) “There There” (“Hail to the Thief”) “Feral” (“The King of Limbs”) “Idioteque” (“Kid A”)
Encore: “Skirting on the Surface” (new song debuted Monday night in Dallas) “Paranoid Android” (“OK Computer”)
Really tempted to go to Roo this year, but right now don't want to go by myself since none of my friends are planning on it.
Yeah, you wouldn't want to come back & see them perform (in the place that Thom has said is one of his favorites) alongside all of us crazy, rabid Radiohead fiends fans. That would just be an awful experience to endure...
You can't see this, but I'm totally giving you the "over-the-glasses, raised eyebrow" look that says "Are you f'n kidding me? You're NEVER alone on the Farm... ESPECIALLY in a field full of Radiohead fans." But trust me: the look is there.

Calm down, that's not the primary reason. I am taking a break from most festivals and saving my vacation for now. I have to visit my mom in Finland who I haven't seen in four years sometime soon. That gets expensive.
I haven't ruled out Bonnaroo yet, but prefer rolling with someone. I have bought 2 peoples tickets for Bonnaroo the past couple years to have a friend to roll with.

Keep trying, it seems like tickets are continually being released as people have issues.
I scored a pit ticket to camden after it "sold out," and that pit is TINY
Keep trying, it might be tough to get a pair together but people have said they have gotten 4 individual tickets at a time just refreshing the "sold out" pages.

You guys are crazy if you think that any setlist without TASOO on it is the best setlist of the tour. That is my favorite Radiohead b-side as well as part of my top 10 Radiohead songs of all time, so the fact that they are playing it on this tour just makes every setlist without it MEH. I mean, not really, because its still radiohead, but I really really pray I get that song at one date this tour.

TBH I had never heard that song until they played it, and Radiohead is my favorite band. Would be cool, but for my first time seeing them Id much rather get Paranoid Android and The National Anthem

I am the same way with Street Spirit and Pyramid Song. That setlist is awesome, but I would have felt the lack of both of those songs.
And Alberto it's understandable you never heard that song it's not like people are always gushing over The Amazing Sounds of Orgy, it just happens to be one of my favorites and I wigged out when they played it. You should check out the Amnesiac B-sides, they're pretty much all incredible. Trans-Atlantic Drawl is basically what Radiohead would've sounded like if they were a punk band. Cuttooth is also delightful, and was supposed to be on the album until a disagreement with the label, or at least that's what I read. I also read that Myxomatosis is about said disagreement with the label over Cuttooth, which makes sense considering they share a chorus ("I don't know why I feel so tongue tied, I don't know why I feel so skinned alive")
Oh, and Fog as well. That song rules.

It just hit me: I'm seeing Radiohead 4 times this Spring.
Wow.
Atlanta (that was so great!), Coachella week 1, Cincinnati, and motherfucking Bonnaroo!!!
By the end of Friday, June 8, 2012, I will have seen Radiohead 6 times in my life. That includes 3 times at festivals (Lolla, Coachella, Bonnaroo) and 3 times not at festivals. I am a very lucky person.

Interesting info. Cuttotth is my favorite Amnesiac b-side, and I always felt it was good enough to be on the album. I wonder which Amnesiac track would have been cut in favor of Cuttooth had that happened?

Actually, I feel like several of Radiohead's b-sides should have been on their respective albums instead of some of the songs that made it. I can think of b-sides from The Bends, OK Computer, Amnesiac, and King of Limbs that should have made the cut.
