dont want to push any buttons but what is camp inforoo normally like?? people awake at 8 am blasting techno and eating no no words all day orrr a wide range of festi vets ? been the past five years and somehow never heard or seen anything inforoo related
Annnnnnnnd now to take a lunch after not accomplishing a thing at work this morning. Very happy with the line up, other than the Beach Boys. Easily 20 bands I'd go see.
Can someone link to the dates thread where the release date of the line-up, schedule, additions, etc... from the last few years are compared? I think someone did earlier but I'm not about to scroll through 30 pages for one link...
The Beach Boys will be a nice opportunity for a tasty ham sandwich and a nap. Jack White tickets go onsale Friday for his run of March shows. Maybe they will let those shows sell out and then add him but I doubt it. Him not being on the Bonnaroo lineup essentially forces me to the buy tickets for the local show since he is a must see.
SOJA is really great live. But they are much lower on the line up than I expected them to be. Do you guys think they will be Thursday since they're that far down?
I feel like my head is going to explode! Between this lineup today and the Avett Brothers just announced 3 Ohio shows and Pittsburgh one I'm so overwhelmed all of a sudden. We are going to go broke buying all these tickets!

I bet they play Beach Boys at the same time they have one of the bigger rap acts in a tent. Beach Boys is a massive get, let's be honest, but it's geared towards the older rooers.
Bet u kno more beach boys songs then u would think...i put on a playlist its like the songs are etched in my brain
From birth to age 7 the Beach Boys were my shit. They were the first 4 concerts I've ever seen. So I'll be the stumbling fool belting out every word to every song
I think the lineup is one of the better for sure. We still got plenty of additions to come including the comedy tent and probably more reggae and electronic. Im sure they will surprise us with a special curated stage as well. No big surprises as we did some great sleuthing this year, but I can name 30 bands on thereI am looking forward too!!
DAMN YOU SPOTIFY! I'm listening to the Bonnaroo 2012 playlist and you play an ad for the Disney playlist... do you have any idea how excited I got when i heard Elton John's voice?!?!?

Bring on the Roo!!!
Ur enthusiasm excites me yet the only special stage he will prolly be the solar stage again and the added EDM bands will probably be pushed to the Silent Disco again. I found out Manny Fresh Dj'ed last year for an apperence at the Disco. To some people, its like if Phish and Bruce played a quickey at the Sonic Stage for 15 people trying to escape the sun under the tent next to it. How are people going to even hear Manny or anyone come on and Special Guest on a little stage under a tiny tent fitting only about 150 people. They need to bring back the luner stage, book some EDM artist...they got time, and put Skrillex on it to signify that its a new mark on the Farm for latenight.

So, as a jam fan, this isn't the greatest lineup. Really expected Weir, Robinson, Greene. Or at least DSO. That said, there's a lot of great stuff on here! I'm pumped for The Word, Bon Iver, Ben Folds Five, SBTRKT, Charles Bradley, and so many more! See y'all at 'Roo for sure! I'm definitely gonna try and stop by Camp Inforoo at some point!
