I think Phish is unlikely, they have their own fest and seem to prefer doing multiple nights and Roo will only have one night to offer. I think more likely bands will be RHCP, Furthur, Kanye and MMJ

Phish would play even if they were only given one night. Not sure if they want to play Roo again so soon but I don't think that them getting one night would make them change their mind. Also, at this point most bands could who play roo have their own festival. Gov't Mule has Mountain Jam, Wilco has Solid Sound, Pearl Jam has PJ20, Dave Matthews has his caravan thing, hell....even SCI played Roo this past year and they were headlining their own festival.
Bands want to play to a good crowd for good money and gain exposure. For headlining types of acts Roo fulfills all of that. Someone having their own festival does not change that.

I'm pretty sure it was determined that Phish aren't playing shows next year. I wish I could find it on here but I'm almost certain that right around the time of this year's Roo that somebody brought that to our attention.
When did Insider start dropping info for the 2011 lineup?

I'm just pointing out that the fact that they have a festival and like to play multiple night shows doesn't rule them out from playing Bonnaroo. No clue if they'll be back next year.
Technically you are saying that you go to every phish show on tour and bonnaroo's show (If it happened) would be the only one you skip. I thought that was pretty funny.

Phish said with the announcement of the summer 2011 tour that there would be no fall tour. Thats the only announcement to my knowledge of taking time off.

Does anyone think that Bonnaroo can even pull off The Wall? I'm not sure how large that stage set up is in arenas, but anyone think this could be adjusted? I would love to see Roger Waters do the wall!

The centerpiece will be an actual wall -- 240 feet wide and 35 feet tall -- that's constructed during the first half of the show and knocked over towards the end. The shows will also feature Gerald Scarfe-designed puppets that "will articulate more than they did in the last show," according to Waters, as well as extensive projections and other special effects.
"The engineering and technology has gotten better, especially the projection techniques," Waters notes. "We can make a very bright image across the width of the arena, which we couldn't do before."

I think they could fit the wall set but I don't know where projectors would go. Plus there's alot if pieces of set that normally hang from ceiling. I don't think the show would work outdoors
With the new Justice album coming up, could they be a Which LN set? Or That LN..
Justice isn't LN Which material. Yet. Give it a few years. Only edm I could see in that spot is chemical bros or deadmau5 (daft punk would be on what)
I think Massive Attack might be big enough for LN Which, or possibly Portishead. But I definitely think that if Justice's new album is as good as their first, they could be big enough for LN Which by June. Although they fit surprisingly big bands in tents during LN. I guess they do that by creating some brutal conflicts.
Also, I could see Bassnectar returning after a year or two off and being big enough for Which Stage. Seriously, Bassnectar has been blowing up for a while now. It's crazy.
You're right when you say that Deadmau5 will probably return this year for a LN Which show. I know a lot of people on here hate on him, but it just seems so likely after his Lolla spot. As long as they keep the Which pre-HL after dark like it was this year, I don't think it's a huge deal. But I guess I like Deadmau5, so that's kind of biased.

I'm hoping or a 3-4 hour Wilco show.
And Ryan Adams in the Robert Plant spot. Or isn't he big enough for that?
Prince | Muse | Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers | Outkast | The Pixies | Wilco | Death Cab For Cutie | Ryan Adams | The Roots | Arctic Monkeys | The Nightwatchman | Deadmau5 | MGMT | Moby Live
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
